My wife and I got married in October 2025 at Farm to People in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Music is very important to me and I cared a lot about our choice of DJ, and consequently met with a lot of different DJ services. It was immediately clear that NT DJs would be our choice once I met with them. Nico and Ben both convey high levels of competence and professionalism while retaining the feeling of a business owned and operated by real people, and importantly real people who genuinely care about your wedding and experience. When I think wedding DJ, my mind, and I think many people's, first goes to "what music is being played during the reception when everyone is on the dance floor?" You'll actually work with your DJ for way more than that - ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and maybe more depending on your special day. Nico was not only great at that first, narrow idea of a DJ, but he was consistently awesome for every part of our wedding day. Whether he was determining what part of the evening music should be played, mixing and sequencing, or picking music that 'rhymed' with the rest of our selections, I felt very comfortable and at ease knowing he would crush it (and he did). Importantly, we are low-key and understated people and wanted our DJ to reflect that - we wanted to skip the common DJ-as-Hypeman setup that usually includes yelling into the microphone for folks to "get out on the dancefloor." Nico worked with us to understand how we wanted announcements and intro's to go and was happy to customize to our preferences. Everything was so smooth.
