Golden Bell Music was worth EVERY penny AND MORE! It's been 6 months since my wedding and I'm STILL getting comments on how much fun all our guests had! Even my mother-in-law who doesn't dance did NOT sit down! I'm Lebanese and my husband is Israeli, so I had asked for help mixing songs to combine our cultures and then move into more western music. I'm still getting sooooo many compliments from our families on how we were able to combine our traditions and our music! And our guests LOST IT when they came out on the dance floor with their instruments and danced with us! I did this in lieu of a zaffet group because i wanted something more unique -- in lebanon a drumline would follow the bride and groom and dance/perform for guests -- and it was definitely the right choice!!! On top of their amazing performance, Marlon was **insanely helpful** both leading up to the day and on the day. I didn't have a wedding planner and was making last minute decisions/timeline changes myself the day of. I couldn't have done it so smoothly without Marlon being so helpful as an MC and being so willing to roll with it! He was absolutely fantastic!! Cut your budget wherever you can to make sure you can hire them. It's SO worth it! Thank you Golden Bell Music for making it the best day of summer (so i've been told. multiple times. by different guests.)!! I don't know for what occasion, but I'm 100% going to find a reason to hire them again.
PHENOMENAL - TRULY ONE OF A KIND!
Golden Bells was PHENOMENAL! Marlon and the entire band absolutely crushed it at our wedding. Not only is every musician insanely talented, but Marlon curated the night perfectly -- easing in with oldies to get our parents and older guests moving, then seamlessly shifting into the EDM, pop, and Bay Area rap we love. It felt like the soundtrack of us, and everyone could feel that. One of the highlights of the night was when the band came onto the dance floor with drums, trumpet, guitar, and trombone -- and even let us drum in a bit. The energy was unbelievable. And Hava Nagila with a full live band? Unreal. The band/DJ fusion setup made the entire reception feel elevated, unique, and unforgettable. They're truly a one-of-one. We got so many compliments throughout the night and later about the music, the vibe, and the experience the band created. Everything ran smoothly -- from emceeing to sound to transitions -- and you can tell the quality of their equipment and professionalism is top-notch. We can't thank Marlon and the Golden Bells team enough for making our wedding feel like a celebration we'll never forget. Highly, highly recommend them!
Best Band Ever!!
The Golden Bells played at our wedding this September at the Grand Island Mansion, and they were so incredible! I wish we could relive the night over and over. We had the DJ, sax, and trumpet trio and it was the perfect hybrid setup. The mix of live instruments with a DJ made for such a fun night with a mix of fun old school music and then dancey vibes as the night progressed. Their playlist was perfectly curated and included all of our must-have songs. They even played a spontaneous birthday song for my brother turning 30 per my request (In Da Club x 50 cent) with the sax and it was so amazing. The dance floor was packed all night which was exactly what we wanted. Everyone is still talking about our wedding band and how the hybrid DJ-band vibe was the best thing they’ve ever seen at a wedding. They completely exceeded our expectations and brought our night to life. I would also add that they are incredibly organized and communicative leading up to the big day which is key! We never left the dance floor!
We were struggling to decide between a DJ and band. We wanted variety, energy, and originality. When we found Golden Bell, we were so excited! Then they wow-ed us with their clear, welcoming, and organized communication. Their energy and ability to read the dance floor was truly extraordinary - they fully incorporated our preferences for song selection and vibe, and brought our vision to life in the most fun and engaging way. The saxophonist and drummer even came out onto the dance floor, letting our guests bang on the drum and circle around, which was a huge hit! The MCing was also precise and warm. We cannot recommend Golden Bell Music highly enough - they truly helped make our wedding an unforgettable celebration. Months later, our guests are still talking about how they never left the dance floor!
