Nothing beats the feeling of rocking a live crowd for track after track, especially after the long pause in events! DJing is all I do for "work", and I love it! Each wedding or event I play is full of different people and different ages from all over the world, and they all have differing tastes in music- blending so many different genres and styles of music is such a fun challenge!

DJ Roman Candles was excellent! He pulled off a set that was beyond our wildest dreams. We had a brief phone meeting a week before the wedding about how we wanted the vibe to be and he pulled it off perfectly. Us and our guests were blown away by his performance. After the wedding, all of our guests were raving how awesome he was! He blended all of our requested genres. The transitions between genres and between songs were spot on! He had all of our guests up and dancing. Our wedding coordinator said he was very easy to work and communicate with. He was very organized and had all the equipment we needed. He also took care of the emcee duties and did an awesome job! He had an app we could use to upload all of our song requests. We found it very useful for organizing the songs we wanted played at each part of the night. He totally killed it and we could not imagine anyone doing better. 10/10. We can’t stop watching videos of how fun the night went! Totally recommend DJ Roman Candles for your wedding or any other events!!!

I found Mike via thumbtack & although on there it stated he was booked on my wedding date I thought I’d still reach out to him. I’m so happy I did because he put me in touch with our dj, thankyouteddy and he did an awesome job djing for our wedding! Mike was very informative and gave me plenty of information. He also has you do a questionnaire to help narrow down the right dj for you based off your music preferences. Mike will reached out periodically to follow up & also puts you in touch with the dj the week of the wedding to go over details. Teddy arrived on time and kept everyone on our toes throughout the night. The only thing I will say, is if you’re doing bridal party introductions it’s best to rehearse it if possible. Or give an exact time of the song for your dj to play when each couple comes out.

We worked with The Hook Club on an ambitious two-day wedding, which included them doing live sound for our Friday welcome party, live sound for the music at our ceremony, some deep cut requests, and our desire to not just have "another wedding band." What we got was an incredibly talented, creative, and kind group of people who were ready to make whatever we wanted happen, ready to add ideas and layers, and who then completely blew away our expectations. We're in that era of our lives where we've been to about 100 weddings in the last 10 years, and we can honestly say that no band has even come close to The Hook Club. A year later everyone is still talking about how great our band was. They are true professionals in every sense of the word, and you should seriously consider booking your venue around whether or not THC is available. That's not hyperbole - they were that good.

L Rock Entertainment was truly amazing from start to finish. The communication with our DJ/MC was incredible - she went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day was perfect. Christina was our wedding DJ, but she also brought a photo booth, sang during the ceremony, and had someone come and played the piano for us during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Seriously, I cannot rave about L Rock Entertainment enough!!! They had music that appealed to all our guests, and the dance floor was packed all night long. It was our favorite part of the wedding!

Brandon was an outstanding DJ who supported our wedding this last February. I loved that he had outfit options, as our wedding was themed "Love Through the Ages" and we requested all of our guests to wear attire from their favorite decade. It was fabulous that we were able to pick his super awesome outfit to stand out (and in theme) for the wedding. He curated the most amazing playlist, based on our theme, so we got to drift through music from the 20's, 30's, 40's, and all the way through to current day. He is such a charismatic and engaging host and was able to convince folks (who I never thought would have danced) to get onto the dance floor. I can't say enough about how pleased we were with Brandon's talents and feel so grateful that The Knot had him on their vendor list for us to find.

My husband and I got married this past August and I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while but we had a big move and time got away from us. As a wedding vendor myself I know how important it is to have a DJ that can balance fun and professionalism, but Joey Chang did just that. He was punctual, detail oriented, and our guest couldn’t stop talking about how good he was, both as a musician and as a DJ. I really appreciated the time and effort he took to insure that no details were missed. We booked a lighting package as well and our ceremony space looked even better than I could have imagined. Joey made sure the ceremony audio was perfect. Everyone could hear the whole ceremony which was really important to us. And when he played cello for our processional and recessional, the sound really filled the space and sounded beautiful. During our cocktail hour he played cello and did some beatboxing, we were so impressed and our guests loved it as well, they were talking about how good he was and how they could hardly believe it was live music. After dinner the dance floor was full the whole night. Even months later we still have people telling us how much fun they had dancing, how great our playlist was, and how much they liked our DJ. If you want your wedding to be classy, romantic, a total rager, and go off without a hitch, I would highly recommend hiring Cello Joe!

I hired Erica in July for my December Disney wedding. I never felt rushed, overwhelmed or anything stressful. Erica is so kind, her voice is ethereal and she knows how to read a room. She even recommended an amazing officiant to me when I was struggling to find one. Erica was the hit of my wedding, when she started singing to open the ceremony a bird flew up to her, perched next to her and sang with her. Even the bird wanted to be close to her and felt her kindness. This was the most beautiful moment and my guests are still talking about it. I wanted a Disney/Christmas wedding theme and Erica delivered in every aspect. She was also beautifully dressed and looked gorgeous (nobody wants sloppy vendors lol). Erica created the perfect atmosphere by intertwining romantic Disney music as well as Christmas songs. Erica made the wedding a dream come true. The fact that she is well known also helps, as most vendors and venues love working with her. She learned a few new songs for me and worked seamlessly with my other vendors to create the perfect, yes absolutely perfect, day. Thank you Erica! You are a true star!

I've never worked with a DJ as good as Drew and his crew. Drew had sent me an email a few weeks before the couples wedding with the reception timeline (a first) and kept me up-to-date with any last minute changes the day of. It is clear by working with Drew how much he loves his job and how much he cares about the couples he works with. He got the crowd going, the dance floor was always packed and he invited the couple up to DJ booth which was so fun for them and also amazing for pictures.
