My husband and I knew we wanted to get married but did not want to plan the actual wedding…and we are so lucky that we found the company Wedgewood. With so many venues to choose from, we got married at The Sanctuary in Long Beach and when I say our wedding was stunning, I mean it. We will cherish the day forever. Wedgewood made the entire process so incredibly easy, it almost felt too good to be true. But it was true! All we had to do was make the final decisions and our team took care of the rest of it. We showed up, got married, had an amazing party with amazing food and drinks and had the time of our lives. Not only did we love our wedding, our guests loved it as well. We got so many compliments on how beautiful our decor was and how smoothly everything went. As a bride, I was so nervous about our timeline going the way it was supposed to, but our wedding coordinator, Fumi made sure everything was on track. Fumi made our day so much better and my bridal party loved her. She made me believe that the most important thing was that I married my husband. I highly recommend Wedgewood Weddings. There are no loopholes, their pricing is reasonable and you are able to express yourself freely with them and plan your perfect wedding day. Everyone on their team was no kind to us and make our day so much easier and made us feel so so special. I am so grateful for Wedgewood. Book with them!!

Heritage Park and Clarke estate are two hidden gem venues I love telling future clients about along with friends and family. Working there as a preferred vendor for nearly 5 years now has been a great experience as a vendor and for my clients as well. Working together with a venue to ensure the couples day is going well without a hitch is very important and let me tell you Leanne and her staff consistently work together and hard to make sure of that. Not only are both venues historic they're also affordable. That is a perfect combination for a venue Especially when people need to accommodate large guests 200-300 guests. Highly recommend both venues I do work more at heritage Park since their guest capacity is 300 but I always look forward to working with Leanne. Always a great experience.

We were so grateful to find an affordable venue in DTLA that had an exterior space for a ceremony interior space for wedding event. The bonus was that the space came with rustic farm tables, chairs, basic lighting & string lights, bar, and pipe and drape. After looking for months - nowhere else in the city offered the value and the wow-factor that Seventh Place did. The staff was attentive, detailed, and thoughtful. Highly recommend to attended one of their open houses, or see if you can take a tour while an event is being setup, that way you can see the space in use. The staff provided sample floor plans for researching how best to use the layout effectively. Things to consider: no kitchen, but if your caterer can prep/heat elsewhere, a buffet style or cooked outside on mobile kitchen worked perfectly. The greenery/ivy is breathtaking on camera - but beware, certain times of year the ivy drips/rains droplets of sticky sap. Not an issue but be mindful of dresses/suits standing beneath it. Parking was easy, load in/out was very easy as well. The space was turn-key, with everything setup as requested when we arrived.

We had the honor of working with Marla for our wedding in July 2024 and we cannot say enough AMAZING things about working with her to make our wedding dreams come true. Hotel Maya was the first venue to respond to our inquiry when we first reached out to venues. When we had our initial site visit, Marla was so thorough with her questions to ensure that the spaces we looked at fit our budget or vision. She advised that the hotel is pet friendly, which we loved since we wanted a venue where our dog could be part of the wedding ceremony. We fell in love with the spaces (Jardin de Palmeras and Miramar Ballroom) and loved that they beautifully showcased Long Beach. To that, Hotel Maya offers wedding packages that include ceremony & reception spaces, wedding cake, day-of coordinator, day-of get ready room, hotel room the night of the wedding, catering, cake cutting knife & server, tables, chairs, utensils, tablecloths, and so much more! We didn’t have to look any further and booked Hotel Maya right away! During the wedding planning process, Marla continued to be the absolute best to work with. I came with a ton of questions, and she always responded quickly and never made we feel like I was a bother. If there was something outside of catering that we need assistance with, she would gladly point us in the right direction or generously help us herself. She gained our trust very quickly through her above & beyond customer service, kindness, and sweet personality. Marla’s work is truly magic. On our wedding weekend, Marla made herself available for any last-minute preparations we needed her help with. On the wedding day, she was there when we needed her, and she was working behind the scenes to ensure our wedding day went smoothly. She made sure to touch base with us once in a while to make sure we were doing all right and just be excited with us. At this point, she’s been such an integral part of our big day, we were definitely sharing our joy with her. Also, we are happy to say that our dog was included in our big day. It’s so sweet to know that he was there with us as well. The hospitality staff at Hotel Maya were kind an attentive, starting with my bridal party in the get ready room and all the way through dinner service by checking if my husband and I needed anything. We also heard a consistent compliment about our bartender from our guests: he was quick! They said even when the line was long, he whipped up drinks in a flurry. Even my father was really impressed! We are so glad our guests were taken care of by all the hotel staff. Thank you, Marla and the Hotel Maya staff, for everything. We are beyond grateful. You’ve made wedding planning less stressful and made our wedding dreams truly come true. Hotel Maya will ALWAYS have a special place in our hearts. Whenever we go eat at Fuego, the hotel restaurant, we will be sure to visit our ceremony space to lovingly reminisce and pay a visit to Marla. We recommend any couple to consider Hotel Maya for their wedding venue as we had such a wonderful experience working with them.

The Hoxton Hotel is a true original as it is unlike any other chic hotel in all of downtown Los Angeles. I have had the pleasure of working with most of the staff, especially those in the event planning department, and at every level my expectations were exceeded. I found the Team Members to be great communicators, organized, and professional from beginning to end. It is also easy to recommend this hotel, with it's many unique spaces, for any event from a conference to a wedding. With a rooftop view to die for and 5-star cuisine you can not go wrong with choosing The Hoxton.

Velaslavasay Panorama

5.0

Los Angeles, CA
  • Up to 75 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $1,800

The Velaslavasay Panorama is housed in the Union Theatre, a historic neighborhood cinema built in 1910 with a neon marquee, enchanting garden, vintage theatre space and 360-degree painted panorama viewing hall. Set in the historic West Adams District near Downtown LA, a visit to our panorama is complimented by a stroll through the Garden and Grounds reminiscent of the great 19th century pleasure gardens, featuring lush tropical plantings, a wide variety of succulents, a misting and meditation grotto, and a copper-roofed gazebo for reading and reflection. We are using Zola to promote our site as a rental venue for weddings and private events. To learn more, visit rental[dot]panoramaonview[dot]org and to ask questions or schedule a tour, contact event[at]panoramaonview[dot]org.

If what you are seeking is a truly magical venue, look no further than the Velaslavasay Panorama. My wife and I did not want to have the typical hotel conference hall wedding. We wanted to show our family from outside of LA a place that was meaningful to us and at the same time still impress our friends from LA. The Panorama is genuinely extraordinary, with several different areas that can be arranged to suit your celebration. Our guest list was about 70 people and it was the perfect size. We opted to have our main ceremony in the historic theatre, our cocktail reception with our bartender in the lush garden, our musician play in the gazebo, and our dinner in the large area outside the moon gate. This made it easy for pick ups and drop offs with our catering and table / chair / bar rental. Sara and Ruby from the Panorama were absolutely lovely to deal with and helped considerably with logistics before, during, and after the event. Our photographer loved all of the different backdrops possible and everyone kept mentioning how wonderful the venue was. Check it out, I'm sure you will be absolutely stunned by the Panorama.

Millwick was such a dream venue for us — we loved look and feel, the location, the courtyard bar and the bridal suite (non-negotiable for getting ready and taking a few minutes to ourselves among the chaos). The folks at Marvimon were so on top of everything and easy to work with. They checked in with us every step of the way, answered our questions, filled in the blanks where we needed, and provided us an amazing list of vendor recommendations that added up to a perfect night. And all our guests were comfortable (even in 90-degree weather) because of the venue's inside/outside capabilities. We couldn't have asked for better. (Photos by Simply Best Photography)

Valentine is our grandest location, and features a flowing 9,000 square-foot site plan designed for private events, courtyard weddings, receptions, exhibitions, productions and live performances. The venue is fully amenitized, and we provide experienced, professional site management, plus a commercial kitchen for client-selected catering teams. Originally built in the 1920’s in an area that has long served as the city’s seafood market east of Downtown, the building has lived many lives in its century of use; it’s been a hotel, a brothel, a fish and oyster company, and a commercial site for everything from glass blowing to marijuana cultivation. This mysterious history subtly informed our re-invention of the space.

  • Natural elegance with open spaces
  • Both indoor and outdoor options

We cannot thank Valentine DTLA (and the whole team at Marvimon) for going above and beyond and making sure our wedding really was everything we dreamed it would be! Here is a quick breakdown of how it all went down: We originally found Grass Room on Pinterest and always dreamt of getting married here! We went to visit the venue and loved it, but then they showed us Valentine DTLA and we realized that fit us A LOT more! We were looking for a venue that would "WOW" our out of town family members from NY and NE and give them an experience they could only have in LA! The dining area was laid out beautifully with a projector (that we used to project our seating chart and then play clips from our favorite romance movies while we danced), a historic looking bar that spoke for itself, and a ceremony area that's full of greenery (and the best lighting for posed photos)! While the place was a little out of our price range, we decided to have our wedding for 150 people on a Friday and it was worth EVERY. SINGLE. PENNY. Once we signed the contract, we were put in contact with Dana and her team (Clare and Ariel) who helped us every step of the way and was there to answer ALL of our questions (which were a TON)! They provided us with paperwork that clearly outlined the rules of the venue and gave us a list of recommended vendors that have worked the venue before which helped us out a TON! One thing to note as you're considering this place, you will need to pay for a valet with White Label Valet who were very easy to work with and we HIGHLY recommend having since the area outside of the venue isn't the safest. Also, the venue does have security so there was never a moment where we or a guest felt unsafe. We spent a year and half of planning everything with Dana and her team at Valentine DTLA before our wedding. This included visiting the venue, having meetings in person to discuss the layout of everything, and asking us questions for things we never would have thought of to make sure all of our bases were covered. Dana and her team were so kind, helpful, and made sure we felt good when the day finally came and always checked in to see if we were stressing out as we got closer and to see if there was anything they could do to alleviate our worries. When the wedding day finally came, their site representative and our Day of Coordinator from "Pop the Champagne" (who was a DREAM to work with) made sure our wedding day went perfectly and that all the vendors obeyed the rules outlined in the contract so we didn't have to worry about anything at all! As soon as we walked into the venue, all of the stress was gone and the best day of our lives commenced! It seriously was the best day of our lives and we never felt so loved and that's thanks to Valentine DTLA (and Marvimon)! Even our guests were in complete awe of the venue and had a blast as well! We cannot thank Valentine DTLA and Marvimon enough for giving us the perfect wedding! Now quit reading this review and go book this beautiful venue!

The Count's Den was the perfect choice for our wedding venue. From the moment we first reached out, their communication was clear, consistent, and incredibly gracious and accommodating. They were very hands-on throughout the planning process, and even stepped in to help resolve an issue with the caterer, going above and beyond to ensure our day was seamless. The venue itself has a beautiful, intimate feel without ever feeling crowded or overwhelming. We loved that hosting our wedding here supported the local art collective, rather than a typical wedding factory. The bridal suite was a lovely space for us to get ready, and we were able to truly make the entire venue our own. The Count's Den and their wonderful staff played a big role in making our wedding day so special and memorable. I will always recommend Rachel and her team for any spooky fun events!

We were thrilled with our wedding venue at the Sonesta Redondo Beach & Marina. Throughout the planning process, their communication was prompt, precise and proficient in addressing all of our questions and requests. Grass Room will forever have a piece of my heart! The folks at Marvimon know how to host a WEDDING. Still smiling! From the moment we started planning with their team, they were responsive, assuring and personable in their communication style. They held a design meeting with us to get all the logistics and layout perfectly planned, and also provided a preferred vendor list - they already had great relationships with quality vendors that complemented the eclectic, vibey and airy ambience of the Grass Room. The entire experience was seamless, and we are so grateful to the Marvimon/Grass Room team for making our special day truly unforgettable. Where do I begin?!! The Portofino Hotel & Marina was INCREDIBLE!!!!!! From day one all the way to today, a few days after the wedding, all the staff we encountered has been excellent!! Specifically I want to give a shout out to Sierra, Rain, Luis, Paco, & Mac. Sierra was my main hotel wedding coordinator and contact. She was so responsive, attentive, organized, sweet, available, and amazing!! I couldn’t be happier with her and her services. The entire experience was seamless. We planned an entire wedding in under 2 months together as I was eager to marry my man this year. She was so helpful and explained any and all things when I had questions. Starting with booking the venue all the way to the day after the wedding. Everything was so organized, including the deadlines of decisions I needed to make, and payment info, and what to do if it rained. She had everything covered. THANK YOU THANK YOU SIERRA!! Rain was also another venue coordinator & catering sales manager who helped us too and he was amazing as well. He stepped in when/if Sierra was out of the office and he attended our tasting and answered so many questions as well. He was so nice, sweet and great to work with. Very organized and never missed a beat! Thank you Rain!! Luis, the director of Banquets, handled anything food and drink related and everything was perfect. He even placed two of each hors d’oeuvres at our sweetheart table (knowing we probably wouldn’t get a chance to eat them during cocktail hour as we were busy mingling) and he was right!! It was such a sweet, simple gesture that made a big impression on us. Paco was one of the Bartenders from the day of (I never got a chance to meet our other bartender) and he was so fun and cheerful and positive and an overall great spirit. Guests kept telling me how much they loved Paco and me too! Mac worked on the hotel side and we met him when we checked in and he handled ALL our luggage and he also golf carted me around on the actual wedding day so I didn’t have to walk too much. He was super sweet and was so helpful and had a great vibe! Also, my initial point of contact was Melanie who responded to my initial venue request. She was so great and helpful and responsive that right away we were sold and we booked the venue the next day without ever even seeing it in person. On top of all the AMAZING staff, the venue is just absolutely beautiful!! You can’t find a prettier ocean front venue in the So Cal. Just gorgeous. We chose a type of all-inclusive wedding package that included a sit down 3-course dinner, open bar, ceremony, hotel room, wedding cake, and many more perks such as white linen, candles on each table, arch on the ceremony grass, champagne toast, etc. It was perfect, efficient, organized and made my life so easy. I really didn’t have to do much except invite guests and show up!! many of my guests told me afterward they were so impressed with the staff, venue and the food!!! Seriously, the food was excellent. I know all of this sounds too good to be true but honestly it was. I had zero problems, no horror stories, nothing. It truly was a PERFECT day and overall experience. I also found out afterward that a coworker of mine got married here too this past summer and she said the same thing. Her day was perfect as well and I am not surprised at all. Thank you to everyone at the Portofino! We cant wait to come back just to enjoy the restaurant, the views and the excellent service :)
