With a capacity of up to 120 guests, The Oviatt offers a spacious 2,714 square feet divided among six rooms, complemented by a two-level 4,703 square foot terrace. Backed by a dedicated team of experienced event managers, our newly revamped venue ensures a seamless journey from envisioning your special occasion to bringing it to life

Best. Wedding. Venue. Ever.
If you're planning to have a small intimate wedding, love the vibe of DTLA and want a venue with character and values inclusivity, The Oviatt is literally the perfect choice. Bonus point for being super affordable. The Oviatt team made it really straightforward and easy for us from the jump. From the moment we inquired, Gabe got back to us really fast. He informed us immediately when another couple was interested on the date we were looking at and gave us ample time to lock it in. Lindsey and Cami were our main point of contact after signing the contract, they provide you a welcome kit with all the info you'll need (such as vendor insurance and how to acquire it, parking, rental they can provide, layout guidelines etc.) and a checklist along with their due dates for everything they'll need from you. They even have a preferred vendor list in the welcome kit which is going to help you LOADS in wedding planning. Going with one of their preferred caterers is highly recommended. Oh and their bar? 1000/10 delicious drinks. We still think about the espresso martini. seriously. The value for money is incredible considering everything you'll get and zero hidden fees! We're absolutely in love with this venue. It made our special day even more magical because of its natural charm and the Oviatt team was so lovely to work with. Not only did we fall in love with this place more, our guests did as well 3 We miss everything about this art deco hottie of a place.

From the moment we reached out to The Oviatt: Penthouse & Event Deck, their team was incredibly clear, flexible, and friendly in their communication. They really worked with us to get our event just as we wanted it to be. The Oviatt staff were so professional, supportive, and enthusiastic throughout the entire planning process and on the day of our wedding. Their beautiful, iconic Los Angeles venue provided an unforgettable and impressive setting for our special day. This historic venue was perfect for both our out-of-town and local guests, and the great management ensured everything ran smoothly. We are so grateful to have celebrated our wedding at this truly special place.
Absolutely Perfect
We are still floating after our wedding at The Oviatt. This venue is an absolute hidden gem — our guests couldn’t believe that such a stunning Art Deco jewel was sitting right in the middle of downtown LA. The space is so gorgeous on its own that we barely had to bring in any florals, which not only saved us a ton of money but let the venue’s incredible character really shine. Gabe, Lindsay, and the entire team were phenomenal to work with. We asked a lot of questions throughout the process, and they were patient, responsive, and supportive every step of the way. On the day of, every staff member helped ensure everything ran smoothly, letting us just relax and enjoy all the moments that mattered. The Oviatt delivered on beauty, service, and unforgettable vibes — we couldn’t be more grateful, and we’d choose this venue again in a heartbeat.
Best wedding, best venue, best people
From first contact to the Big Day, the experience with the incredible people at The Oviatt was amazing. They’re friendly, supportive, accommodating, helpful, and just like NORMAL and COOL. The kinds of people you want to deal with all the time, the kinds of people you want to be friends with. That’s reason enough to book this place, but of course there’s the venue itself. It is GORGEOUS. It is so cool. Historic. Picturesque. It feels special to be there. And after looking around all over town, it is by far the best package in all of Los Angeles. The price includes so much that other venues simply don’t provide. We couldn’t have afforded to have a wedding this amazing anywhere else. I wish we could get married all over again and do it at the Oviatt. If I ever have any other events to plan, we’re absolutely doing it here. Thank you, Gabe, Lindsey and Cami! Love, Mariya & Spencer
