Paperboys is a boutique wedding film/photo agency located on the ‘skirtz of Washington D.C. We started down this regal road in 2014 and we have the mountain of harddrives to prove it! We’re a collaborative team of filmmakers and photographers who live for making amazing things for the world’s most friggin’ amazing couples. When we started this business on a wing and a prayer, we quickly realized that working alone is not a ton of fun - some would say, it’s for the birds. So, we grew our team and that’s when things really started to come to life.

What makes us unique? Simple, it’s our dedication to the craft. Each of our team members are full-time staff, each with a heart to collaborate, to learn, and to produce the best work possible. It’s this spirit of collaboration and sharpening each other that has made our films and photo galleries better and better with each passing season. But even as our films evolve, each one still possesses that Paperboys spark, which inspired this whole endeavor - a passion for breathtaking cinematic imagery, and for storytelling that, hopefully, moves the soul. — We’re so excited you’re here —

We couldn’t have asked for better photographers than Daniel and Troy from Paperboys! From day one, they were incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and professional, but also so much fun and easy to be around. They made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and really took the time to get to know us as a couple and understand our vision. Their attention to detail and genuine care showed every step of the way, and it made the entire experience feel effortless and enjoyable. We’re beyond grateful for them and would highly recommend Daniel, Troy, and the Paperboys team to anyone looking for photographers who truly go above and beyond!

Daniel and Jonny from Paperboys were exceptional for our wedding. From our very first call with Logan, we knew we were in great hands. He took the time to truly understand us—our style, our preferences, and what mattered most for our big day. Logan was not only professional but also incredibly friendly and fun to work with, which made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. On the wedding day, he was discreet and efficient, capturing every moment we had discussed ahead of time without ever feeling intrusive. His attention to detail and ability to make everything run smoothly were outstanding. The final result was everything we hoped for and more. Paperboys is AMAZING. We hired them for our Indian wedding events and also had an engagement shoot. First off - they are one of the most responsive and kind vendors in the industry that I spoke to. Having a vendor like this on your team while wedding planning makes life SO much easier. They are flexible and always willing to hop on a call and discuss any concerns or questions. For photos - we worked with John primarily for photography, and he made us feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot; we had full trust when it came to our wedding. Those photos came out like art. He is such a pro - perfect cues for posing, always knows what to do, and really takes into account your preferences/concerns. He works so seamlessly, and on top of that, he is insanely kind, accommodating, and makes you feel so prioritized. He is so familiar with the brown wedding scene that he knew to call everyone auntie and uncle! He really went above and beyond for us throughout our weekend, and I can't express my appreciation enough. AND obviously, our photos are beautiful! We also worked with Matt and Matthew for photos, and they were both equally amazing, kind, polite, and talented. Their vibe really is so calming, warm and efficient, which you definitely need on your wedding day. For video - we primarily worked with Jonny, and Laura came to a couple of our events as well. They were both so chill, kind, and just a pleasure to be around. Something must be in the water at Paperboys honestly! Now.. Jonny created a same-day edit that was SO above and beyond my expectations. I mean, I was sobbing when I saw it at the reception. I only briefly described to him my vision for it, and he understood it perfectly. It was dramatic, beautiful, and every element was well thought out. He is a genius! I truly have no words. Jonny and Laura captured so many cool moments and shots, and I am just so excited to relive all of our most special moments when we receive more video content. I would wholeheartedly recommend Paperboys, especially the folks highlighted above, to anyone looking for wedding photographers and videographers!
