About this venue
Customization, Flexibility and offering one of the area's Highest Rated Customer Service are what we are known for! Once Finger Lakes, pronounced OHN-say (11 in Spanish) for the eleven lakes that form our region. We are a Regional Tasting Room & Events Venue. A scant 15min drive from Geneva and Penn Yan, our modern eclectic building, large deck, the tent on the events pad and expansive lawn, all offer breathtaking views of Seneca Lake. Say I Do on the lawn, toast and connect during Cocktail Hour in the main building, before kicking off the excitement of reception under the tent. Being also a Tasting Room will get you access to arguably the area's best bar selection, as well as to our first-in-the-area interactive drinks stations. Flexibility in food? Sure, we work with a variety of chefs. And of course, our Events Coordinator will be there to support you along the way, ensuring that your day is as magical as you imagined it. Tent on Events Pad
Unbeatable outdoor space with a stunning lake view that has it all!
The tent is setup on an events pad that always keeps it dry. But just in case of inclement weather, there's enough sidings to fully enclose it. It's a frame tent! Unlike the pole tents that have the big pole in the middle that's always on the way, frame tents offer a blank canvas to design any layout and flow you can imagine. Which is also possible thanks to having access to electric outlets all around.

Main building and deck are the same square footage, with access to the expansive lawn for entertainment. Open all glass and garage doors and you have the perfect space overlooking the lake. From memorable Plated Dinners made by some of the region's best chefs to casual Welcome Drinks, Rehearsals and Showers. Flexibility with furniture allows you to choose between standard seating, high tops or open space for mingling.

Once Upon a Wedding Pro — Finger Lakes Style
As a professional wedding and events consultant who has worked at and alongside many venues throughout the Finger Lakes, I can confidently say that Once Finger Lakes is truly top-notch. The venue itself is stunning — a beautiful lakefront property with sweeping views of Seneca Lake that instantly sets the tone for an unforgettable celebration. Their region-focused wine tasting room is modern, bright, and interactive, featuring tasting machines that allow guests to literally taste the Finger Lakes. It’s such a fun, unique way to kick off cocktail hour and immediately immerse guests in the experience. The outdoor spaces are equally impressive. The tented poured patio with wood farmhouse tables creates the perfect reception setting, while the expansive lawn — accented with wine barrels and a simple, elegant arch — offers an effortless yet elevated ceremony backdrop. It’s classic, romantic, and very true to the Finger Lakes. What truly sets Once Finger Lakes apart, though, is the staff. They genuinely live hospitality. From multiple planning meetings with each couple to their attention to every last detail on the wedding day, their team ensures that everything runs seamlessly. It’s a pleasure working with the professionals at Once because they are all experienced in hospitality as well as having a truly impressive depth of knowledge of Finger Lakes wines. Because of Once’s central location to the heart of Finger Lakes agriculture, there is seemingly no end to the farm fresh ingredients available for your event. Once provides an all-encompassing experience from beautiful views of Seneca Lake, to experiencing local food and wine at it’s best!

I loved working at this wedding venue to film and photograph a wedding this past August 2025! The communication from the wedding day coordinator from Once was friendly, and she had great communication which made the entire event easy to shoot. The facility itself is a hidden gem, offering a beautiful setting with stunning views of Seneca Lake and the Finger Lakes region. Everything was conveniently located in one place, from the ceremony to cocktail hour and reception, making the flow of the day seamless for me as a vendor. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend Once Finger Lakes to any couple looking for a unique and memorable wedding venue. As a videographer and photographer, the lighting and having the whole event in one place were highlights making this a venue I would love to work with again. I also loved seeing guests natural smiles and reactions to seeing the cool "wine vending machines" they could use on site, and the customized drinks were also a nice addition. I could tell guests and the couple were all really enjoying the experience from the content I captured.

Yvonne was the sweetest to work with and was so patient to help make my vision come to life. The day was perfect and the night even better. Great food and venue.
