About Mischief and Laughs Photography
Cara Harrison
Your wedding should be a stress-free and joyous celebration! And to capture all the love and life and happiness, your photographer should be focused on the emotions of the day, not only the pretty centerpieces. At Mischief and Laughs Photography, we believe that the important things aren’t the things at the wedding, but the people – your families, your friends, and most importantly the person you are about to marry. We carry this love for love into every wedding we photograph.
I’ve made it my mission to document these small moments during the weddings I am blessed enough to photograph. On the candidness continuum, my work is fairly unposed in nature. I try to blend into the background as much as possible during the wedding day, observing and photographing all the little things that occur.

Amazing Photographer
We absolutely loved working with Cara and can’t recommend her enough. From the very beginning, she was flexible, easygoing, and genuinely wonderful to be around. We had a few plan changes along the way, and Cara handled everything with total grace — no stress, no pressure, just support. On the wedding day itself, she went above and beyond to make both of us feel comfortable and special. Neither of us are naturals in front of a camera, but Cara made everything feel relaxed and fun, and it shows in the photos. We felt truly taken care of. One thing that meant a lot to us: during a time when finding vendors for a Jewish wedding can feel a little nerve-wracking, Cara didn’t blink twice. Captured Amazing Little Moments
Working with Mischief and Laughs Photography was wonderful. Cara was very responsive and easy to work with, leading up to and on the day of the wedding. She was extremely professional and went above and beyond in working with us. The ceremony and bridal party pictures are absolutely beautiful, but I think where the photos really shine are the wonderful little moments of the day that she captured. Neither my husband nor I are big on staged photos so we wanted a photographer who would get those in-the-moment shots. I am so happy with all of the pictures from the after-dinner cigars on the outside patio and of our friends and family on the dance floor. If you want someone who can truly capture the celebration, you need to book Mischief and Laughs for your wedding.
