Q: Do you travel?

Of course! We love to travel! We do charge extra for the time depending on the location and you’ll need to cover transportation and accommodation for all band members. Ask your producer for a quote based on the specifics of your event. PS–if it’s within a couple hours, that’s included within our basic package at no added charge.

Q: Can the band play the ceremony and cocktail hour?

Absolutely! We’re an all-inclusive band with a broad musical repertoire. Want classical music for your ceremony, a jazz set for your cocktail hour, and dance party reception? You’ve got it. Speak to your producer for more specific details and requests.

Q: What style of music do you play?

We play a wide variety of music. From Top 40, to classics, to classical and jazz. You can get an idea of the musical styles you can choose from on our media page.

Q: Can I choose the music?

We have a solid repertoire of songs that will please all of your guests from your 6-year old niece to your grandfather. It’s always important to have some freedom to read the room on the night; but our number one priority is pleasing YOU. Just let us know what you want to hear, and, if it’s not already in our repertoire, we’ll work with you to make your night perfect.

Q: Will you learn a new song for us?

Of course! Just make sure you give us enough notice of your special request so the band has time to learn your song.

Q: How long does the band play for?

The band can absolutely play during dinner, but we’d recommend using your sets when your guests are ready to stand up and get dancing. Our typical event reception includes 4 x 50-minute sets with short DJ sets between the band sets. If you would like a dinner set, please let us know ahead of time as we defer to playing after-dinner sets unless otherwise instructed.

The entertainment at our wedding was top notch! As the bride, I can say they were super accommodating when I was caught up chatting with people when I noticed a song I love playing. When I ran to the dance floor to catch it the group was in the final few bars of the song and instead of ending, noticed my excitement and immediately picked it up from an earlier verse to give me the experience I would have missed otherwise. I think this story alone helps to explain why you should book them for your next event, but on top of that the process to work with them was easy and we had a blast dancing all night long. I’m not kidding when I say over half our wedding photos are gems of our friends and family tearing it up on the dance floor having a ball. If I had to be nit-picky - I would say that I was disappointed by not having our first dance performed as we had expected it to be, but we loved our first dance experience for the base of it’s meaning so much that it didn’t matter at all at the end of the day, especially since they made up for it by helping the groom with a musical surprise for the bride. :)

Where do I begin.... I will admit we were a bit unsure at first about the idea of hiring a band without knowing which individuals/vocalists would actually be present to do our wedding, especially given our CT seaside location away from major cities. But rest assured...Silver Arrow absolutely elevated our wedding beyond imagination. It has been 3 months, and people are still talking about them (more than us as the bride and groom!). Add to that they are the most cost effective group out there, and it is a no-brainer. Their system of entering information (logistics, song choices, etc) into a dashboard over the weeks and months was a wonderful way to stay organized and on the same page with them. As we entered/changed information, they could immediately see it. We had a couple of calls with them to arrange specific details and songs (they allow up to 3 custom songs). I had a very specific idea in mind for how I wanted to get people from inside (at the conclusion of dinner) out to the dance floor. They not only were game, but leaned into it so well that people could not get enough of it. We had them play a 1930s Gatsby-esque song with their 9 piece band, including drums, and parade around the inside of the building conga-style, which everyone followed out to the floor. People mentioned it as their favorite moment of the wedding! These were all younger (20s and 30s) top, top-notch musicians. We and everyone else were floored by the sound and energy they put out. Far from a tired 'wedding band', these performers are out of top music schools and in the industry professionally and gave everything they had for our wedding. They also were able to seamlessly switch between Spotify playlists that we had arranged between breaks, to then play live for long stretches and doing MC'ing. And, they know what they are doing- they knew what songs to play and when for maximum impact and had the crowd rolling all night. It was all so great, and such the highlight of the wedding overall, that we are only sad we can't do it again, the same way, with Silver Arrow leading the way. We are endlessly grateful!

The band was phenomenal; they completely exceeded our expectations and kept the dance floor packed from the very first song to the last. The energy, talent, and chemistry they brought to the night were unmatched. Every single guest has told us how incredible the music was and how much fun they had dancing. They nailed every transition, read the crowd perfectly, and made the entire reception feel like one huge celebration. You could tell they genuinely loved what they do, and that energy was infectious. Thank you so much for absolutely crushing it!!

Silver Arrow Band was absolutely outstanding and truly the heartbeat of our celebration at River House at Odette’s. From our special first songs to the very last encore, they had every single guest on their feet and the energy was electric all night long. People are still raving about how incredible the music was and how the band made the reception feel larger than life. Every member of the band was individually amazing, with so much talent, personality, and passion shining through in every song. Their chemistry and ability to read the crowd were unmatched. Every transition was seamless, every performance full of soul and joy. They created an atmosphere that was nothing short of magnificent, and it felt like a concert designed just for us. We could have danced for hours longer and wish the night never ended. They made our night unforgettable and turned our wedding into the best party of our lives. ENDLESS THANKS!
