Amore Strings is a group of conservatory trained musicians specializing in all strings (violin, viola, cello, harp, guitar and piano) and can offer you solo, duo, trio and quartet options. We play throughout the Bay Area and Wine Country and are a preferred vendor at San Francisco City Hall.

Let Amore Strings serenade you: I reserved the Mayors Balcony at SF City Hall and wanted to find a reputable music group for our wedding. From the day I inquired about acoustic musicians to the day of the wedding, Cynthia was available to answer any questions big or small. Choosing our song list was easy because their website was easy to navigate. What really sets them apart from other businesses is their wide catalog of music. They even let us choose a few songs not found in their catalog for a reasonable price. We were ecstatic! My fiancé and I chose a harp/cello duo. Kristin and Gabriel were exceptional! They arrived early, we’re very kind, well-prepared, quality musicians. They played all of our songs beautifully. The wedding ceremony was a bit unorthodox as my fiancé and I are not familiar with weddings… at all but watching Kristin and Gabriel communicate and pivot so well when we moved to the next phase of the ceremony was impressive. Amore Strings gave us such a romantic and elegant wedding experience I am booking them every year we visit SF to celebrate our anniversary. SF now has a special place in our hearts and I thank Kristin and Gabriel for contributing to that.

We came across Amore Strings through a list of groups approved by San Francisco City Hall and we could not have asked for better performers to make our wedding feel extra special. They have a wide range of music fit for anybody’s taste and vibe for their special occasion. Yes we do! If you can't find that special song on our list of over 1000 songs, let us know. We'll research the availability of the music and provide you a quote. Prices can range from $30 to $200 depending on your ensemble and whether we have to write a special arrangement.

Yes we are. We carry liability insurance for $1 million per event and can list your venue as an additional insured.

The process is more alchemy than formula. You'll want to consider several factors including the number of guests, the location, desired ambiance, musical styles, and budget. For example, a solo violin doesn't really do justice to the spoken lyrics of Rap, but is a great fit for lyrical love songs. A string quartet is the OG ensemble with rhythm, harmony and a full musical texture. But a trio does nearly the same thing if you're on a budget. Amore Strings can offer an ensemble for every vision. Typically musicians wear all black. But if your wedding has a special style or theme let us know and we'll be happy to accommodate.

Both! We offer one-hour packages for the ceremony, and longer packages that include the ceremony and cocktail reception. We can also add hours for a dinner as well.
