Not to brag, but several guests remarked on how it was "the best wedding they've been to," which I fully attribute to Marigolds. From the start, Anika was responsive and considerate. Throughout the process, she was incredibly supportive (especially when we, err, fell off with admin) and consistently patient. @New Brides! This is a unique skill that you'll cherish from your vendors! On top of being an absolute pleasure to work with, she and her team are true artists. I ambitiously asked for live moss to be installed on columns in the reception space and she delivered. All of my guests were floored. I can't think about it without wanting to cry! Moss aside, Anika and her team push boundaries across everything they do. From the bouquet and boutonniere, to the ceremony arch, it's clear that she has a distinct understanding of structure and design. The table scapes were also visionary, designed from moss platforms with anthuriums, garlic, and beech mushrooms–the latter coming as a complete surprise. She listened to our budget concerns, suggested reasonable and beautiful alternatives when necessary, and delivered unbelievable work. Can't recommend Marigolds Florals enough. “My husband and I decided to have an intimate micro-wedding with 12 other people in June of 2024, and organized just about everything ourselves, including the flowers. As part of the planning process, we sought out a preservation artist who could freeze this element of our wedding forever in time. I found Jackie of Evergreen Botanical Studio and her 3-D preservation style matched exactly what I was looking for, so we booked our date with her as soon as we could. She was the PERFECT choice. She took my crazy wild bouquet, my grandmother’s handkerchiefs that wrapped the stems, all the extra flowers from the arrangements, and even some delphinium from her own garden (because she's such an angel and took pity on me that mine didn’t quite survive), and created a work of art that takes me directly back to my wedding day and reminds me of all the amazingness that unfolded. AND she crafted the most wonderful little memento for my Mom, that was completed in time to gift for her 50th wedding anniversary, just months after our event. Jackie was so easy to work with, providing detailed instructions for packaging and shipping the flowers from the Midwest, eased my worry by confirming as soon as she received them, and gave a timeline and explanation of how the whole preservation process works. It seems like magic that the flowers in the finished product look just as they did on the day of our wedding. There is something extra special about the care and artistry that she applies to each and every project she works on. You can feel the passion for her craft shining through, from the vibrant colors and clever composition to the expertly homemade frames. This was an important part of our wedding budget, and we are so glad we made the investment, not only as an extra special keepsake but also to support a fellow artist and small business owner.
