“What is there to say other than without Marissa, there would have been no wedding. Joshua Tree has a reputation of being hot- and April is typically mild. NOT ON OUR WEDDING DAY! 40 degrees with wind chill with a wind SO strong that literally almost nothing would stay up (and it was completely outdoors). This girl jumped in to action and made sure that even with the craziest wind, we still had a *stunning* wedding reception. The flowers were picturesque- matching the venue, the bride and the groom to a T. All the smaller details on tables and the use of various pieces made the wedding pop in ways that as an artist and a bride, I will never forget. The colors, the choice of flowers, being able to jump to fix almost ANY situation on the fly- this girl has a PLAN and then she has at least 4-5 more in case those don't work out. She's an expert in all of it because she's been working in the wedding industry for almost a decade- planning, doing flowers, doing CAKES, running it.. the list goes on and on. She's the ONLY person I would ever want by my side for any of this and she made our day absolutely perfect even when everything we had plan for had only one enemy- wind.”

“It goes without saying that when it comes to event planning, Andrina gets it! She's insanely creative and at the same time refreshingly collaborative. When I contacted her about organizing a romantic marriage proposal, she made it a priority to understand my vision and then build off of it. Given that I wanted to propose in Big Sur but couldn't come up from LA without getting caught, Andrina scouted several locations, took photos and videos, and kept me updated on all our options as they developed. She was transparent in all our communications and was always conscious of our budget when giving suggestions. The execution of this proposal was flawless and exactly what I imagined. There was a beautiful picnic arrangement waiting for us as at a secluded, picturesque spot where photographers were inconspicuously pretending to be tourists until I popped the question. After an intimate photoshoot we proceeded to a surprise dinner with the rest of the family at a local restaurant, where the table had been pre-arranged with flowers and custom menus. “We hired Leigh & Co for day-of coordination and were paired with Heather as our main coordinator and Rachel as our assistant coordinator on the day -- both were fantastic and a joy to be around! Heather was very communicative and easy to get in touch with leading up the wedding, which put us at ease. She offered great input in developing the timeline and thinking about the overall flow of the wedding. She brought up several things that we never would have thought of that made things run so smoothly (e.g., suggesting when the officiant should ask to turn cell phones off at the ceremony, how to spread out the toasts during the reception). In setting up the ceremony/reception, Heather and Rachel made our decor look spectacular and kept track of everything special to us (including a few family heirloom pieces), and safely and quickly packed everything up for us at the end of the night. Due to some unexpected heavy traffic in the area, we ended up delaying the start of our ceremony but we didn't worry even for one second that anything would get upended because Heather and Rachel had it covered.”
