My Secret Garden LLC is a boutique floral design and event styling studio based in Connecticut area (we travel too!). Our studio is run by Ulyana and Yuliya Lyalka, a sister duo. Ulya is the principal designer while Yuliya supports us in onsite events. Flowers are our love language and a medium with which we use to express emotions and celebrate meaningful life moments. In our studio, we harmonize rooted principles of floristry with a modern-day aesthetic that is both natural and playful. ​

My name is Lindsay Fondo and I am a floral designer and photographer based in CT, by way of NY. Serving both + NJ. I have a strong appreciation for flowers and photo’s, for their ability to say how we really feel, and how when you look at them you get all of the feel good vibes. I absolutely love working with my clients to bring their vision to life/ help flesh out a vision they didn’t even know was there.

The lead floral designer, Sarah, is passionate about nature. She believes flowers can bring people happiness and joy. She decided to pursue a career as a florist and studied at New York Flower School, one of the most celebrated Floral Design Schools in the world. Sweet Blooming was launched to focus on floral design for weddings and events.

I've always been the creative, organized type—planning corporate events, alumni reunions, or special gatherings for loved ones. Years ago, I planned my own backyard wedding in under three months. The day before, disaster struck—a storm took down my tents, my fiancé broke his foot, and my dad had a concussion. After a long day in the ER, I was back arranging flowers and setting up decor. Despite the chaos, the wedding was beautiful. That day taught me this: every couple deserves to enjoy their moment without stress. That’s why I’m here—to bring your vision to life, beautifully and effortlessly.

At the age of 15 I began taking horticulture & floral design classes & fell in love with all aspects of floral design from that moment on. I feel that I am truly lucky to be one of the few people out there who found my true passion in life so early. Nearly 20 years later I still feel the same excitement & love I always have for being a floral designer. My love for what I do is how I am able to meet my goal of exceeding the expectations of each & every individual that I work with. There is not one style or budget that each person should have to conform to for their floral needs & desires to be beautiful.

The granddaughter of two gardeners, I have always felt a connection to the earth through the soil. When someone brings flowers into a room, something changes...an energy, an excitement! I love being able to bring that kind of beauty into peoples lives. I'm a small-town girl who enjoys anything that involves working with my hands from cooking to knitting. I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

I started my business in 2018, after I finished floral design classes from Cass School of Floral in Watertown, MA. I have had hands on experience from Floral Arts in Westford, MA and have completed over 75 weddings in my time as a floral designer. I love using locally grown flowers as much as I can in my work, to really showcase 'farm to florist'.
