Where do I even begin? Sarah is not just my wedding planner, Sarah has become of my friends through this months-long wedding planning process. When I first reached out to SGS Events, Sarah sent me a questionnaire that made it clear she wanted to get to know me and my fiancé on a personal level. Sarah is professional, while being open. She is calm, while assertive when necessary. She leads with her heart and this is shown in the work she does. Sarah went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make our day what it was. From venue changes to guest count changes to typical family drama and more, Sarah handled each pivot and new challenge with patience and understanding. What began as a 30 person dinner turned into a 55 person welcome party, ceremony, reception, and after party. Sarah is the reason it went off without a hitch. Her communication with me was so natural. She was always quick to respond to emails and sending voice memos helped keep us both updated throughout the busier times of planning. Planning with Sarah didn't feel like a chore, but an experience. This is what I desired as I wanted to be a little more in the weeds on design stuff, but I know Sarah could easily handle all of the design herself. She has a beautiful eye for decor and detail. We were working with a brand new venue and Sarah basically worked with the venue to create brand new spaces that fit our vision. Sarah designed a new ceremony space in a wooded area on the property and a custom reception space on the lawn. She also designed our table-scapes using pre-owned decor that she sourced (she has a passion for sustainability that aligned so well with my values). She is also a talented florist and did the florals for our rehearsal dinner. We got so many compliments on everything. I mean, Sarah simply nailed it. I can't say this enough. On top of all of this, Sarah is just a beautiful person. Inside and out, her passion and kindness shines through. She simply loves people and she cares for her couples deeply. As an Indian bride, I felt so seen by her. Her Mexican heritage and traditions brought an inherent empathy for fusion and international couples and the unique challenges and situations multi-cultural weddings entail. My advice to other couples: 1) Hire the vendors Sarah recommends. She knows her stuff and things are smoother when your vendors know and trust each other. She recommended our caterer and it was hands down the best wedding food we've ever had. She has so many amazing contacts. 2) Try to hire Sarah before you even have a venue picked. She can help you scout it helps when your vendors already know the location. 3) You almost certainly need more than a day-of coordinator. I can't imagine going through all of this without Sarah, and I "only" held a micro-wedding. Hands-down the best money we spent on our wedding was Sarah.

YPB was simply the single-best decision we could have made for our wedding. Our planner, Katelyn Evans, EXCELLED at: (1) Coordinating and managing our vendors, both local and not-at-all local (2) Understanding our vision and transforming it into reality (3) Navigating the complexities of a South Asian wedding (along with the specific needs for our families) Early on in our wedding planning journey, we got quickly overwhelmed, especially because we were not nearby to our wedding destination. Katelyn hit the ground running with us from day one. She was our boots on the ground, meeting with vendors in person when needed and was an expert in keeping things moving no matter what the action item was, big or small. A few particular difficulties that Katelyn navigated expertly: (1) We struggled to pull together the decor based off our wedding vision. Katelyn realized that one decor vendor was not meeting our needs and worked overtime to pull together an order sheet that pulled decor from multiple vendors that matched our vision perfectly AND cut our decor costs by half. (2) Katelyn accommodated our parents needs down to even the smallest requests, like making sweets available to guests at auspicious moments during the wedding weekend and even helping coordinate dinners outside of the wedding itself. (3) Katelyn pulled together last-minute needs during the wedding weekend without a sweat, such as setting up umbrellas to provide shade during the wedding ceremony or last-minute hotel room booking adjustments. The result was a multi-day South Asian wedding that was even better in real life than we could have dreamed of. Our guests LOVED (1) the decor, (2) the food, and (3) how organized and thoughtful each event was. Throughout the entire wedding journey, Katelyn remained extremely receptive to changes, incredibly attentive to detail, and our biggest friend and advocate. All couples need Dana and her team with Thyme & Details for their big day. We hired Dana as a day of coordinator but she is so much more than that. She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. When the venue dropped the ball, others got details wrong, or vendors fell through, Dana was always a step ahead and came up with even better solutions than our original plans. Dana really knows the ins and outs of organizing a wedding, is in tune with the Columbus wedding scene, and has incredibly valuable connections. Overall we were blown away by Dana and her team’s professionalism and dedication to our wedding. Dana’s communications were always prompt, detailed, and thorough every step of the way, making the planning process a breeze. She lead our rehearsal too which is exactly what we needed. We booked Sheeco Weddings—specifically Nicole—as our day-of coordinator, and we truly couldn’t recommend Nicole or the Sheeco team more. The way they structure their coordination services was an absolute dream. Starting about a month before the wedding, we began meeting with Nicole, and she took the time to truly get to know everything: our vendors, décor, family dynamics, and all the little details that make a wedding run smoothly. She created our full timeline and took over communication with all of our vendors, which was such a huge relief. The level of detail she thought through was incredible—things we never would have considered on our own. Having someone so organized and supportive leading up to the big day relieved so much stress. We had a very DIY wedding, with a lot of moving parts. All vendors were booked individually, and we brought in all of our décor ourselves—candles, hurricane glasses, table linens, napkins, cutlery, cups, name cards, signage for the bar, seating chart, welcome sign, and even our cake table (since we picked up the cake ourselves). Nicole and her assistant executed that vision perfectly—truly above and beyond our expectations. Everything was set up beautifully and exactly how we had imagined it. Because of Nicole and the Sheeco team, my husband and I, our families, and our wedding party were able to completely relax and be fully present on our wedding day. I knew that if anything came up, it would be handled seamlessly. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better day-of coordination/wedding management package. I hired Zoe for day of coordination but she was instrumental to an amazing wedding day. She was an absolute pleasure to work with, I would highly recommend!! I had help from my family in the wedding planning process but for day of coordination she helped in creating the timeline, ensuring it went smoothly, decor set up and breakdown, and much more. On the wedding day when we strayed away from the timeline she was there coordinate with vendors and guests to make the transition so seamless our guests didn’t even notice. We hired Erin for our month of coordinator almost 2 years in advance. From the beginning, she was very responsive, informative, kind, and helpful. I am pretty organized, and she consistently thought of questions I didn't! I was very impressed with her demeanor with myself and the rest of our vendors. Our venue required a pre-approved coordinator, and Erin took the steps to contact them to make sure she would work out, and we are so glad she did! We had the pleasure of working with Rania and Maggie for our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with how smoothly everything went! I seriously could. not. recommend. her. enough. Bria was an absolute sweetheart and so quick to respond to any questions we had. Our day flowed so smoothly because of her. We were hesitant to invest into a coordinator, but with our wedding being out of state, we didn't want the stress. She made sure our dreams came true and handled any hiccups like a champ without me even realizing things went differently till after the day was over. During my planning process, she did not hesitate to help me with certain situations if they came up. She seriously was such a light and calm energy when we needed it. Don't want the stress and a positive influence on your big day? Hire her! If we had the budget we would have definitely hired her for more then just day-of.

The beach vibe was executed perfectly—from the stunning driftwood bridal arch to the custom driftwood tea light holders that lit up the evening with a romantic glow. The balloon arch photo booth was a huge hit with our guests! We loved when the little ones played with giant balloons on the dancefloor all night, what great videos we have! Every detail was handled with care and creativity, and we were able to relax and truly enjoy every moment. It was magical.
