I’ve been making pictures since I was 12. My parents gave me an ancient 35mm Konica Autoreflex camera, told me to get after it, and the rest, as they say, is history. My role as a photographer is to capture the rare, vulnerable, epic, extraordinary, and wonderfully ordinary moments of life, as well as the beautiful details in between. I strive to make images that come from the heart and will tell your story for years to come. Also, I might cry at your wedding. It happens.

After traveling between San Francisco & Maine for several years I'm finally home. Maine kept pulling at my heart with it's wild beauty, jagged coastline, glacial lakes and charm. I could never let go, so this past year I made the decision to return full-time to my beautiful little island community off the coast of Maine by ferry boat. You know how you can have a soul mate or soul pet? Maine is my soul place. I've been published, won awards, been named top 100 wedding photographers, and more than anything I've been blessed by working with some of the most amazing clients who come back time and again.

Our first kiss was on the beach, under a star-filled sky, on my favorite island, only home to shells, bioluminescent creatures, and wild horses. Soon after, as two very young humans (21 and 23), we were married. As newlyweds we set off on an adventure, kayaking from Maine to Key West. On that trip, we realized how much we valued spending all our time together and being in charge of our schedule. This business is how we live out that dream.
