“Melissa was everything we could have wanted from a photographer and more! She is kind, knowledgeable, steadfast, professional, friendly, helpful, proactive, insistent, flexible, joyful, and all around fantastic! Her portfolio can speak for itself, I mean just look at those shots! They are timeless and capture the essence of each couple perfectly. What really drew us to Melissa though, was her unique ability to capture the candid moments. Looking through our gallery, there were of course the fantastic formal photos and more guided shots, but my absolute favorites were all of the other shots, the in the moment shots. She does a great job of capturing people in their best light, even when they’re not posing.
Based on how flawless our engagement shoot with her went and how stressed I (the bride) was on the day of our wedding, we were a little nervous about the pictures. The engagement shoot was so smooth and we vibed together so well. The wedding day was very overwhelming and we both were worried that it would show on our faces. But every time Melissa was around (which was often thank goodness!), we were both immediately more calm. We had to pause looking through the gallery because they were too good and we were crying too much.
We cannot recommend Melissa more! She is top of the line, folks!!!!!
For what it’s worth, we are both 29, got married in East Lansing / Grand Ledge Michigan, and bought “The Ultimate Package” (which was super worth it!!)”
