When I received the flowers, they were well packaged and came with simple but thorough instructions for preparing them. Alexa texted me and let me know they had been delivered and made sure I knew to wire the ranunculus and sent a very helpful video. My sister made my and my MOH bouquets and 10 bud vases, my mom and MIL made 4 wrist corsages, and I made 5 pocket boutonnières. We had a bunch leftover that we made into a giant bouquet for the dining room table at the house I got ready at. I did add a dozen orange tulips from a grocery store to the arrangements, but I 100% did not need to do that. Woodsy Floral started by accident believe it or not. Flowers have always been a part of my husband and I’s marriage. Every Friday or every other Friday my husband, Lonnie would go get fresh stems from the floral shop down the road from our house. With crazy looks he grabbed them. This turned into me making arrangements for our events. When some of our friends saw these floral arrangements, they asked if we could make more for their events. We had one friend that owns a wedding venue, she brought up becoming a vendor for her brides. Well after a little bit of pressuring from Lonnie, we attended her open house as a floral vendor and LOVED IT.

“When I began my search for a florist, I knew what type of style and colors I was looking for but I was worried about my budget and for the vision to be captured in that. I spoke to a couple florists who were dismissive and unhelpful. I contacted Lonnie and Monica after finding them on Zola and Lonnie was so informative and personable and helped me understand costs and how to make your vision work in your budget! He answered all my questions and every time we talked, he helped me so much. I was the bride and the coordinator and I was learning the wedding planning process, and Lonnie helped me through all of it. Lonnie and Monica were incredibly flexible and available when I needed to get a question answered. They went above and beyond with the communication, dedication and kindness. They helped me with the bud vases and candles at our reception and did absolutely stunning florals for the entire day. They exceeded by expectation and it gave me so much joy since the florals were one of the most important things to me on our vendor/wedding day list!! They stayed and helped set up and came back to clean up. They were so kind to everyone we worked with at the venue and all our other vendors. I felt so cared for and loved!
