We had the most incredible wedding at Bay Pointe Woods in May 2024, and we couldn't be happier with our experience! The venue is absolutely stunning, with beautiful natural surroundings, serene atmosphere, and perfectly maintained grounds. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of, making our special day feel effortless and stress-free. From the moment we booked, we felt completely supported. The team at Bay Pointe Woods was responsive, professional, and genuinely invested in making our wedding everything we dreamed of. The outdoor ceremony space was breathtaking, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how perfect the setting was. The reception area was equally impressive, providing the perfect backdrop for a fun and elegant evening. We loved that everything was seamlessly coordinated, and the flow of the day was smooth from start to finish. Venue considerations

We had the wedding of our dreams here! The venue is stunning & the food was amazing. Lilly was great at helping us along every step of the way & answering my millions of emails in a timely fashion! I loved that they had the option for chivari chairs instead of just the banquet chairs. We were a little worried about the golfers going by during our ceremony but we didn’t see anyone! Our ceremony was at 4:30pm in September & it was nice & quiet for us! The one downside is they don’t have a designated “getting ready” suite, but we were able to book an Airbnb & hotel not too far from the venue & used that instead! It was nice not having to worry about catering or bar services being separate either. The dance floor was plenty big & I loved they it was right next to the bar to make it easy to drink & dance! We had about 125 guests & they all fit nice but I definitely wouldn’t have felt comfortable having many more as the tables went almost to the dance floor. Highly recommend this venue!

The Clark’s Lakeside

5.0

Homer, MI
  • Up to 200 guests
  • Select services
  • Outdoor & indoor
  • Starts at $1,800

We began our journey in 2015 with a dusty gravel pit and vision for a new home. The gem was the stunning 30 acre crystal clear lake. After purchasing the property we found ourselves hosting church activities and work functions as people truly loved being here. Slowly, we began adding amenities to the property. In 2020 one of our daughters got engaged. As she began looking for a venue to host her wedding we came to realize that the perfect spot was right in front of us. We wanted it to be a very special place and we went to work to create a beautiful wedding venue. There are many opportunities on the property for one of a kind pictures. There are two picturesque options in front of the lake for the service and a new reception building that can seat up to 200 guests. With a 5 acre campus larger weddings can be accommodated with tent rental.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Private area for the wedding party
  • Multiple event spaces
  • Natural elegance with open spaces

Venue considerations

  • No on-site guest accommodations
  • Does not allow pets
  • Additional event staff required

The Clark's Lakeside was an amazing venue for our wedding. They responded in a timely manner through text and set up phone calls to go over what we needed for the venue and if we had any additional questions. Their space is absolutely gorgeous and was the highlight of why we chose this place. The inside didn't need much decoration, which was a plus!! They set up the chairs we needed the day before and checked in during the reception to see how everything was going. The owners were terrific to work with, and we couldn't have asked for a better day at the venue. We will never forget our special day at The Clark's Lakeside and would highly recommend it to friends or family!

We’re still receiving endless compliments about the venue and the food; everyone was blown away by how beautiful everything looked and how seamlessly it all came together. Even with the rain and the last-minute move indoors, it truly didn’t feel like a Plan B. Our guests kept saying it felt like it was always meant to be that way. The space was stunning, the atmosphere was perfect, and that’s all thanks to the incredible team at Of the Land. Their flexibility made the day so easy and special for us.
