Rob Montgomery has over 20 years of experience in the music industry. He studied music and engineering at Ohio State University. After school he worked as a Mechanical Engineer in the steel industry for 5 years. Living in New Orleans fueled his passion for music, and in April 2017 he left the steel industry to pursue music full time. His inspiration ranges from jazz, funk, soul, rock, blues, and much more. His diverse experience and fun loving character helps drive the focus of Sunny Side while still allowing time for several other music projects.

Her husband, YongHao Pan, D.M.A, (cello/bass) is a Juilliard-trained musician with a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Music Performance. As a husband-and-wife ensemble, they perform every event together to maintain consistency and quality. They met at Louisiana State University while performing in the LSU Symphony Orchestra. The violinists hired are from the Baton Rouge Symphony. The Pan String Quartet specializes in providing elegant live music for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.

I have always had a passion for music and creating new sounds with synthesizers. After witnessing a mind blowing DJ set at an outdoor festival while in high school… It was in that moment. I thought I’m going to do that. I spent many years in basements, bedrooms and home studios learning production and practicing the art of mixing popular songs. I have logged countless hours being mentored by DJs and producers. Additionally, in 2023 I obtained my bachelors degree from FullSail University in audio production.
