Our Hallmark-like, unique rustic venue is a 187 working crop and miniature donkey farm, situated on a rural backroad of Highland County, Ohio. The original side of the barn was built pre 1870 and touts massive hand hewn beams and a vaulted ceiling. The barn features modern amenities including bridal and groom's suites, heat & AC, handicap accessibility, prep kitchen and convenient parking. The Venue is outfitted with original wood floors; heavy timber construction, and tall ceilings; some of the main features that make this building unique and one of a kind. Easy access to our almost 2,000 sf deck allows you to enjoy being outside with friends, weather permitting, but if not there is plenty of room for you and all of your guest indoors. Grab a cold drink from the pre-civil war bath tub built into the 32 foot wood-top bar. We have a spacious bridal suite with an attached bath and area for hair and makeup as well as a groom suite. My Old Kentucky Barn is a new venue in an old tobacco barn. The 1800’s barn is situated on over 50 acres on Main Street in Williamstown, Kentucky. Our owner John grew up in Williamstown and, along with his brother Mike, spent a lot of time painting the white board fence and planting Canna bulbs in the spring. John is only the fourth owner of the property in 180 years. The Webb Family were the longest running owners. In fact, they donated land from the property to form Webb Park to the south. John and Edna Risen purchased the property in 1976 and sold it to John over 15 years ago. There is so much history here and we are excited that others can now enjoy the barn. Even though the outside of the barn looks new, all of the old detail is still there on the inside. We know that brides and grooms will make great memories here with their families. It will also be the perfect venue for milestone birthday parties, reunions and other memorable events.
