Our planner, Katelyn Evans, EXCELLED at: (1) Coordinating and managing our vendors, both local and not-at-all local (2) Understanding our vision and transforming it into reality (3) Navigating the complexities of a South Asian wedding (along with the specific needs for our families) Early on in our wedding planning journey, we got quickly overwhelmed, especially because we were not nearby to our wedding destination. Katelyn hit the ground running with us from day one. She was our boots on the ground, meeting with vendors in person when needed and was an expert in keeping things moving no matter what the action item was, big or small. A few particular difficulties that Katelyn navigated expertly: (1) We struggled to pull together the decor based off our wedding vision. Katelyn realized that one decor vendor was not meeting our needs and worked overtime to pull together an order sheet that pulled decor from multiple vendors that matched our vision perfectly AND cut our decor costs by half. (2) Katelyn accommodated our parents needs down to even the smallest requests, like making sweets available to guests at auspicious moments during the wedding weekend and even helping coordinate dinners outside of the wedding itself. (3) Katelyn pulled together last-minute needs during the wedding weekend without a sweat, such as setting up umbrellas to provide shade during the wedding ceremony or last-minute hotel room booking adjustments. The result was a multi-day South Asian wedding that was even better in real life than we could have dreamed of. “Wedding Vendor Reviews We just finished our wedding weekend and we cannot say enough good things about Ashley. From the moment we met, she was so kind and warm and took time to really get to know us as a couple and get a sense of our vision for the wedding. She made us feel so cared for. She was incredibly organized and detail-oriented; she made sure to address so many things we wouldn't have thought of on our own and truly left no stone unturned. Something we really appreciated was how reliable she was. If she said she would take care of something, we were able to free the mental space for that thing because there was no doubt in our minds she would get it done (and she never let us down, even down to packaging the specific cookie flavors we wanted to have set aside for our wedding night.) She got us appetizers and made sure we had a few moments to ourselves to eat before the night got away from us and grabbed us beverages at least twice throughout the night. We had a really tight turnaround time (ie 1 hour) between when our venue allowed us to start setting up and when the ceremony was set to start, so we were pretty anxious about it all getting done and looking good...it looked *incredible* and I know it wouldn't have gotten done if Ashley wasn't wildly organized and good at communicating to helpers. I know this review is getting long but there are just so many positive things to say. The bottom line is that she made our lives so much less stressful the last two weeks and especially the day of. She was worth every penny we paid (and honestly more!) as she went above and beyond time and time again. Lastly, something that was really meaningful for us was having a shared faith with Ashley. It was clear how her faith influences the way she runs her business. (She's so respectful, would be great to work with regardless of the bride and groom's religious identities.) TLDR: we're so so so happy we had Ashley as our coordinator; we would choose to work with her over and over again and would highly recommend to anyone. She not only executed our dream wedding day but she also brought a really wonderful energy to the whole weekend. Book Ashley ASAP!!”

She does it all, which is very convenient so you don't have to communicate with a bunch of different vendors. For us, she worked on our Chinese/Tea Ceremony day and Western Ceremony day. She has lots of experience working with cultural weddings and is familiar with many traditional customs. Early on, she created a mood board for floral arrangements and tablescape, which made it easy to trust and align with her. From beginning to end, she made the 1 year we spent wedding planning sane and somewhat enjoyable. She broke down tasks for us, allowing us to focus on one task at a time, and gave us lots of vendor suggestions to choose from. Philly REALLY shined on our wedding weekend, which was 3 days. She constantly checked in on us, made sure we had breaks, set up every detail of the venue, patiently worked with our large hectic families, and packed up all of our belongings for us at the end of the night. She even took a bunch of behind-the-scene footages since we didn't carry our phones. We trusted Philly in executing and she delivered! She allowed us to enjoy our wedding and took on a lot of the logistical stress. If you don't want to stress from the chaos of wedding planning and you want someone to tell you when you're veering off, don't hesitate to hire Philly!!!”
