Wedding cakes can range from $3–$15 per serving . Tiered cakes are more expensive than sheet cake styled cakes.

How should we cut our wedding cake?

Traditionally, you’d do a ceremonial cutting first, often holding hands on the knife. The caterer then takes the cake away and cuts it into slices to distribute to guests. If you’re slicing it up yourselves, take apart the tiers and cut them into small rectangles. Remember to wrap and freeze the top layer for your anniversary!

How should we transport our wedding cake?

Very carefully! Ideally, your cake will be delivered by your bakery, which should have plenty of experience transporting cakes. You can also purchase special boxes made to protect the tiers.

When should we order our wedding cake?

Set up tastings (the fun part!) around 7 months out. Once you’ve decided, place your order.

“I sent Crystal this photo and I was a bit nervous at first about how they'd be able to make this happen but honestly I am so happy with how this came out it really was absolutely beautiful. I wasn't able to meet her in person with everything going on but she dropped it off for us on time and my coordinator was great in getting everything set up and presented. A few blueberries fell off during handling but considering how detailed and intricate the cake was I am so beyond thrilled at how this came out. I really don't often ask for perfection but with how this came out it's really right up there being perfect. If I find any better photos I will absolutely update this post with them. The venue itself was an absolute disaster but it was great having all those excessive blueberries everywhere it really made a mess and watching them clean it all up later was just fantastic. I'm not even sure if it's on their regular menu but I asked them to do a lemon cake with a blueberry compote inside (I have no idea what that means but my now wife had me asking for that) and the flavors and taste of the cake were just beyond extraordinary. They also made and brought a smaller mint chocolate cake to accommodate some allergies we had in the family and one bite my breath was smelling good all night! Thank you so much for everything I will definitely have you guys doing more in the future!”

Caketini Bar. Co by Jayna & Joey offers a unique, fun, one of a kind cake experience for you and your guests. You choose 4 cake flavors, fillings, frostings, and toppings. We create a custom menu to place on the cake bar that we bring to your event. Each guest then comes up and tells us their favorite combination, we make it and serve it to them in a cute martini glass and off they go to enjoy their very own Caketini Creation. However we do offer a 2 tier cake for the traditional cutting and photos in addition to our Caketini Bar. Let your guests choose the cake they love! Not what's chosen for them!

“Caketini Bar Co. by Jayna & Joey was one of the most unforgettable parts of our wedding! The cake itself was absolutely incredible—moist, flavorful, and beautifully presented—but what truly made the experience magical was how unique and interactive it was. We had two full Caketini Bars at our wedding, with eight options in each category—flavors, fillings, frostings, and toppings. Guests were raving all night about how fun it was to build their own custom cake creations in adorable martini glasses. It added such a joyful, personalized touch to the celebration. I also added a mini heart-shaped cake to our order, and it was just as delicious as it was adorable. It looked so cute and felt like the perfect little indulgence just for me. Jayna and Joey were amazing to work with—warm, professional, and so responsive throughout the planning process. They made everything feel effortless and exciting. I would hire them again in a heartbeat for any event that needs cake (and honestly, every event should have cake like this!).”
