Wedding cakes can range from $3–$15 per serving . Tiered cakes are more expensive than sheet cake styled cakes.

How should we cut our wedding cake?

Traditionally, you’d do a ceremonial cutting first, often holding hands on the knife. The caterer then takes the cake away and cuts it into slices to distribute to guests. If you’re slicing it up yourselves, take apart the tiers and cut them into small rectangles. Remember to wrap and freeze the top layer for your anniversary!

How should we transport our wedding cake?

Very carefully! Ideally, your cake will be delivered by your bakery, which should have plenty of experience transporting cakes. You can also purchase special boxes made to protect the tiers.

When should we order our wedding cake?

Set up tastings (the fun part!) around 7 months out. Once you’ve decided, place your order.

Working with her was seamless, from our first communication with her to the beautiful finished product on our wedding day. She was so kind, communicative, and professional. Our reception was outdoors and there was some concern about our cake being in the sun for several hours, which required some coordinating with the venue about when the cake should be delivered. Natasha took it upon herself to talk directly with the venue in the week leading up to the wedding, insisting that it was not something she wanted us to have to worry about, and for that I was so grateful! Our cake was delicious, and we got many compliments on it. Prior to the wedding, we'd ordered a tasting box from her, and all six of the classic flavors we sampled were excellent. We went with just one flavor for our three-tiered cake since my husband and I both agreed on which was our favorite. Caketini Bar. Co by Jayna & Joey offers a unique, fun, one of a kind cake experience for you and your guests. You choose 4 cake flavors, fillings, frostings, and toppings. We create a custom menu to place on the cake bar that we bring to your event. Each guest then comes up and tells us their favorite combination, we make it and serve it to them in a cute martini glass and off they go to enjoy their very own Caketini Creation. However we do offer a 2 tier cake for the traditional cutting and photos in addition to our Caketini Bar. Let your guests choose the cake they love! Not what's chosen for them!

“We ordered our wedding cake from Cakes by Stephanie and worked directly with Tommy, and I truly could not be happier with the entire experience. The cake was a very important part of the wedding for me (I love cake!), so I was really hoping for something delicious and memorable—and they absolutely delivered. We scheduled a wedding cake tasting, and Tommy was wonderful to work with. He explained everything clearly, was incredibly helpful, and made the whole process fun. They had a complimentary tasting prepared for us with six cake flavors and fillings, and every single sample was amazing. They have so many combinations to choose from, and they even offered to let us come back later to try additional flavors if we wanted. That level of kindness, communication, and flexibility meant a lot. On the wedding day, their team coordinated with my florist for adding fresh flowers to the cake, and it turned out incredible—exactly what I imagined. We also rented a cake stand from them for a very reasonable price, which made things even easier. Their policies were straightforward, the staff was friendly, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. Since the wedding, multiple guests have told me (even months later!) how delicious our cake was. We chose chocolate with hoho cream and white cake with fresh strawberry filling, and both were a huge hit. We also get a fresh cake for our one-year anniversary, which I’m already looking forward to!
