I booked two separate trials with Lori to try out all kinds of different hair options, and she probably spent about 5 hours with me to make sure I was going with the hairstyle that would make me the happiest on the big day. She never made me feel rushed or annoying, even though I was being incredibly indecisive! Her shop is adorable and comfortable and the other people on her team were all fantastic - they showed up to my house the morning of the wedding on time, they breezed through everyone's hair and makeup in a timely fashion, and everyone looked gorgeous after all was said and done. As someone who really doesn't like to have a ton of makeup, I was super nervous about having our makeup professionally done, but I had nothing to worry about - it turned out amazing. I am very picky about makeup (I had never had it done professionally where I had actually liked it prior to my wedding trial) and Amie knew exactly what to do with very limited direction from me. For my hair, I asked for a pretty big change the day of (compared with what was done at my trial) and it was better than I could have expected. Finally, two of my bridesmaids are big into makeup and sat with one of the Amie's assistants for hours during the day asking about products and they have been using some she recommended since! For a vendor that I spent a ton of time researching prior to selecting one, Amie, Kelley, and their team were phenomenal and I would recommend them to anyone, no matter your style or tastes. They may have been slightly higher priced than some of the others I looked at but they were more than worth it - hair and makeup is not something you don't want to be happy with on your wedding day! The Brushing Bride is a mobile onsite beauty business. On the day of your special event we will be happy to arrive on site to cater to all your needs. The only job you and your party has is to arrive and relax. We will provide you with a timeline approximately one week prior to the event to help alleviate any concerns or stress. This is certainly a day where all worries should be set aside and we at The Brushing Bride are focused on making you and your loved ones happy and glamorous! Dana and Nicole have been creating one of a kind bridal styles for their clients for many years.
