Leap Frog Flower farm is a family-owned flower farm just outside of Charlottesville VA. We farm 1.5 acres of flowers, serving wholesale, retail, and bridal customers. We grow the most popular wedding flowers, including ranunculus, tulips, dahlias, and lisianthus.

I have a love for all things wild and natural, scented blossoms, mossy twigs, and starry nights. Flowers simply make my heart sing. I believe the magic of growing and gathering was planted in me years ago as a young girl, working alongside my mother picking wildflowers and lily of the valley. How I create is deeply rooted in who I am; a floral designer, grower, and potter. I feel my art background has been a really strong foundation for floral design as textures, color, and design are all intertwined with both arts.

I believe flowers have a special mission in our lives. People change when they see flowers. Studies have shown flowers have an immediate impact on happiness and their presence leads to increased contact with family and friends. As a freelance floral designer, I loved the way faces lit up when I walked into the venue with arrangements and buckets of flowers. I decided to take the leap and pursue a career that would enable me to create something meaningful and beautiful and combine my passion with designing a purpose-driven life centered on creating stronger connections amongst people through the beauty and language of flowers.

“I Do!” Floral & Wood Designs is a small wedding service business out of the Orange, Virginia area and run by husband, wife, and three amazing little girls. We started out as a different business with a completely different name in 2016. From there, we revamped the entire business into the one of a kind business you see growing now. Brin’s Posy is named after my beloved dog. She passed away unexpectedly a few years ago, leaving myself and her pup sister (Abby) to figure out life without her. We were months of grieving her loss when a close friend insisted I channel the grief energy into something positive. A bell went off in my head as my current job as a florist in a far away town was coming to an end. Brin’s Posy helped me come to terms with the loss. I still have Abby (the shop girl) in the shop daily and occasionally out to our farm venues! We love to source local and work with community members.
