Throughout the process, Yoli, the bridal coordinator, responded to all of my questions promptly and cheerfully. Marielly and Janelle made me feel so comfortable and confident at my trial and were open and responsive to feedback and follow-up questions I had about my own look as well as questions my girls wanted to ask. On my wedding day, my bridesmaids, mom, and I got ready at the pink salon. The space is bright, airy, and full of cute spots for photos. Marielly and Janelle gave each of my girls the same VIP treatment they gave me at my trial and they kept us on time to ensure the rest of the day went smoothly. My group ranged widely in terms of needs (we had hair that was curly, straight, thick, and thin and girls who ranged from wearing little to no makeup regularly to girls who regularly go full glam and wanted bright and colorful looks), and each girl ended up with a look that was perfect for them! Our hair and makeup lasted all night long! While the final product was impressive, what stands out the most to me about working with The Stately Rose was how they made me feel. Every question or concern I had was treated as important (no matter how small) in the lead-up to the day. In the salon, Marielly and Janelle created a positive, fun, relaxed, and empowering environment. They were the ultimate hype-women all morning and they really set the tone for the day moving forward. It was especially meaningful to me how much care our team took in accommodating health and safety concerns among my party; requests we made to keep those with compromised immune systems or allergies comfortable and safe were made without hesitation. I told Pam I didn’t want really heavy makeup up and she listened. The makeup looked beautiful, but I was a bit concerned about how long it would last since I couldn’t keep it on for long after the trial. My curls also weren’t as tight as I’d hoped, and they fell flat after a few hours, so I worried they might not hold up on my wedding day. I shared my concerns with Pam and Brenna—especially about my hair, since it never holds curls—and they truly listened. On the day of the wedding, they absolutely nailed it. As a kid growing up in the 90s, barbies, Polly pocket, basically any doll that allowed you to customize the hairstyle…you name it, I had it. Picture this tiny girl holding a barbie styling head, running as fast as her 7 year old nugget legs would carry her. All to show her mom the “twist braid” hairstyle she spent hours “creating”. Guess you could say I knew my path all along…Fast forward to hair school, 15 years ago. First day-I knew I was in the right place! Now to describe my style-I'd rather give you a visual.

“Meghan was an actual blessing on our wedding. We got married in Maine and I had previously found someone more local to do my hair. To say that initial test with the other person was disappointing would be a gross understatement. I have very thin hair and as such bought extensions. The other person said she couldn't use all of them, and the ones she did use pulled on my hair and scalp in such a painful way that I couldn't wear them for more than an hour or so and the style looked thin and fried. Enter Meghan. Given the exact same tools and accessories she worked actual magic. She gave me wedding hair better than I ever could've imagined or dreamed of. I asked for wild and witchy and romantic and she delivered tenfold. It was so comfortable and long-lasting and I got nothing but compliments on it and she did such a good job integrating the extensions that no one believed it wasn't my real hair. She gave recommendations for which extensions to get and what products to use to prep my hair and was all around amazing. She even helped my groom with his hair last minute on the day of and he looked fabulous too. “Writing reviews was the last things I had on my big ol wedding to-do list. I mostly put it off because I truly did not know how to put into words how perfect most of my vendors were. Jessica was no short of perfection. She was incredibly easy to schedule with, chat with about what I wanted, and offered up advice on all things beauty. Her package deal is incredible, her pre wedding face kit is amazing, her touch up kit is still use to this day, and her own facial products are some of my faves. I didn’t have “mini facial” on my wedding morning timeline but omfg I would tell every bride it’s absolutely necessary. During my trial (at her adorable home studio!) we went in a traditional direction and 5 months later I asked her to pivot entirely and go foundation-less. I’d seen it on her Instagram page and was so impressed and oh man did she pull it off. I felt so natural (I’m not someone who usually wears anything but moisturizer and mascara) and to not have to wear foundation on my wedding day was such a relief. I felt so incredibly beautiful on my wedding day - and so did my bridesmaids. Jessica is worth. Every. Penny. “Working with Marija for my wedding planning, décor, and makeup was one of the best decisions I made for my entire wedding. From the very beginning, she made the process so easy and enjoyable. She was friendly, professional, and extremely organized, and from our first meeting I could tell she genuinely cared about bringing my vision to life. My total budget was 5,000, which I knew wasn’t a huge amount for a wedding. I’d spoken with a few planners before who made me feel like it wasn’t possible to do much with that, so I was prepared to have to compromise on a lot of things. But from the first moment I spoke with Marija, she made me feel completely at ease. She never once made me feel limited by my budget — instead, she got creative, worked around what I could afford, and found ways to make everything look far more luxurious than I thought possible. Marija also did my bridal makeup, and I can’t even begin to explain how happy I was with it. She made me look and feel like the best version of myself. The makeup was flawless and natural, lasted all day and night, and looked amazing in photos. She took her time to make sure I was completely happy before we started the day, and her calm, positive attitude made the morning so relaxed and enjoyable. Throughout the entire day, Marija was there making sure everything ran smoothly. She managed the timing perfectly, kept everything on schedule, and handled all the little details so that I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Because of her, I was able to just enjoy my wedding and take it all in — something I’m so grateful for. I honestly received far more than I expected for my budget. At my trial, Robyn made time to do my partner’s hair as well and I went into the day feeling so confident we were in good hands. We had 10 people getting hair done and 9 for makeup and Robyn planned the day out so thoughtfully and we had plenty of time to get everyone done, with the help of Lindsay and MK who helped with the rest of the hair and makeup. It was the most relaxed experience I’ve had getting ready before a wedding and I was the bride—and our wedding party agreed!
