We are so grateful to Bay Pointe (especially Ashley, Juno, and Lauren) for helping us host a spectacular event. We had our event at the Bay Pointe Pavilion and it was so lovely. We had a gorgeous evening and the weather was perfect. The grounds were beautiful with early June flowers blooming. Bay Pointe also had added more ceremony space flowers which really made it look even better. The food was great and everyone loved our drink menu. Overall, Bay Pointe made everything so easy that day because of how comprehensive the services they offer are. Everyone commented to us that we had the most peaceful, stress-free wedding they had been to in a long time. Even for myself as the bride/wedding planner, I felt like everything was handled and I could actually relax and enjoy the day.

We had our wedding at Barn1888 this summer and it was the most magical day! The venue itself is absolutely stunning, but what truly made our experience unforgettable were Bryan and Danielle. Communication was top-notch, and they went above and beyond to make sure our day was exactly what we envisioned (and more). The space photographed beautifully, our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the atmosphere, you can tell the owners love what they do and take so much pride into the venue! I would highly recommend Barn1888 to anyone and everyone! We’ll forever be grateful for the memories made there and couldn’t imagine a more perfect place to say “I do.” If you’re considering this venue — book it. You won’t regret it.

Our wedding at Meyer’s Castle in Dyer, Indiana on October 24, 2025 was absolutely perfect, and a huge part of that was thanks to Eva Demoff, our incredible wedding coordinator. I truly cannot sing her praises high enough. From the moment I arrived that morning to the very last minute of the night, Eva was by my side whenever I needed her. I had the bridal suite rented for the day, and she was there first thing to greet me with a smile and then stayed all the way until the end helping us pack everything up. She easily spent 16 hours making sure every detail was handled so my husband and I did not have to stress for a single second. Eva is the perfect mix of fun, kind and refreshingly candid. She told me exactly what to expect throughout the day so there were no surprises, no confusion and zero stress. She kept everything running smoothly without ever feeling overbearing or rushed. One moment that really shows who she is: during our bridal luncheon, we realized I had miscounted the number of sandwiches we needed. Without hesitation, Eva shared her own lunch and gave half to my stepmom. It is such a small but meaningful example of how thoughtful and generous she is. Eva went above and beyond in every possible way. She cared about our wedding as if it were her own, and we felt completely supported from start to finish. If you are getting married at Meyer’s Castle or anywhere Eva works, you will be incredibly lucky to have her on your team. She made our day magical. Thank you, Eva. You are truly exceptional.

My husband and I got married at North Lake October 4th, 2025 and had the most beautiful backdrop to the day. North Lake was incredible to work with and were so accommodating. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how wonderful the venue was. Dan really has put so much thought behind every detail from not having any curbs or steps making it incredibly handicap accessible to constantly making upgrades that only add to the experience. My husband and I are both huge baseball fans and we got married on a Cubs Brewers postseason game that started at 2pm. The tv in the groom's room was not working and Dan brought a tv from his own home and had it set up in time for the game. Any questions I had were promptly responded to by Danelle and she was so sweet and personable. If you're looking for a venue where you have the control of which vendors to work with while not missing out on the location and luxuries of an inclusive venue I'd highly recommend North Lake.

Everyone says “Something will go wrong on your wedding day.” They don’t know the magic of the Morris Estate. It’s impossible to describe how perfect our wedding day was, not only for me and my husband, but also our wedding party and our families. Everyone involved got to spend the long weekend relaxing, having fun, and celebrating at this beautiful property without any worry of getting assigned random tasks or cleanup duties— the Morris Estate staff was ON IT every step of the way. At the helm was Ryan Bergstrom, our coordinator, who made the incredibly complicated task of planning a wedding feel easy. As an artist, I wanted every element to be unique and intentional, and was quite frankly worried that the Estate wouldn’t be amenable to a more avant-garde event. I approached them with the idea of hanging a large tapestry painting in the chapel and they got right to work with how they could make that happen. There were no requests that went unheard, and it was clear Ryan was a fantastic collaborator and coordinator in all aspects of planning. Plus, anything or anyone that you need, they have a great recommendation on deck— we found this to be true when seeking an officiant for our ceremony as well as a florist. Trudi and Cherry Road Homestead knocked the florals out of the park. The actual wedding ceremony couldn’t have gone more smoothly, with a comprehensive rehearsal in the chapel and the changing rooms in the basement, everyone was able to get ready on time and relax leading up to the ceremony. With about 100 people in it, the chapel felt intimate but gave guests plenty of room to breathe. It was a short, beautiful ceremony that was tailored exactly to our needs as a couple. Yet another fabulous aspect of working with the Morris Estate was the ease of transition throughout events. Cocktails were in guests’ hands before I could even finish bustling my dress. We never felt rushed, yet everything managed to happen on time. Ryan did a great job taking the time beforehand to meet any vendors not directly from the Estate, so everyone knew exactly what they needed to do their part. The reception was unbelievable. I’ve planned other events, designed movie sets and installation art, and was truly blown away by what they accomplished. It was so exciting to see all of the love and hard work that went into making our vision come to life and see the excitement on guests’ faces when they walked into the tent. It was colorful, magical and totally surreal. Now, to talk about the food. With the estate catering both the rehearsal dinner and reception we got to try just about everything on the menu. We were very pleasantly surprised at our tasting before the wedding. The Estate Manager Nate, Chef Tom and their team had tons of options for us that were as beautiful as they were delicious. Arguably, the most difficult part of working with the Morris Estate was having to pick just a few of the options for our customized menu because they were all. so. good. Our guests had so many kind words about how fun and joyous the entire evening was, and instead of worrying who was going to help clean up at the end of the night, the Morris Estate had it fully covered. Everything was organized back into boxes for us to take home the next morning. I’m sure I’m forgetting so many other wonderful things that the staff did for us, but we will forever be grateful for such an incredible long weekend full of love and celebration. TLDR: Everything was perfect.

The space itself is absolutely beautiful and elegant, with a spacious and open layout that was perfect for our guest list. We felt welcomed and accommodated throughout the entire planning process, as the staff was consistently helpful and attentive to our needs. Allison in particular went above and beyond to ensure our special day was everything we dreamed of. Fernwood really is a hidden gem. The grounds are beautiful and their rates very affordable! They were very responsive to my many questions, and very helpful on the day of our wedding. They even let us use an extra classroom for the groomsmen to get ready in. They were also really flexible. You can’t really go wrong here, and the garden itself can be your decor! We also left one item behind by accident which we were able to pick up a few days later. Lots of “areas” to choose from for your day, too. Only complaint was the poison Ivy growing along some of the pathways, which were already fairly narrow. We just used alternate paths and it was no big deal!

Sundance & The Secret Garden was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first reached out, their communication was responsive, helpful, and kind. They were attentive to all of our needs and went above and beyond to make our day special. The venue itself was incredibly spacious, with a beautiful bridal suite and a cozy groomsman garage that provided the perfect getting ready spaces. When we had a mishap and spilled wine on one of the white tablecloths, they quickly steam cleaned it before the ceremony so you'd never know. And when we realized we had the wrong size tablecloths, they immediately provided the matching color we needed. Sundance & The Secret Garden truly helped make our wedding day one we'll never forget.

We throw an annual golf outing and are blessed that the Aerie team has the flexibility and capability to do a custom catered menu. I think our crew has a higher than average enthusiasm for good cooking, and we are always treated to a great dinner. We are so glad that we discovered Stonegate Manor for our small family ceremony! To start, it is so close to Lake Michigan. We were able to get a photo op at the beach in our casual clothes before the ceremony. Then when we arrived at Stonegate, there was plenty of space in the beautiful manor house for us to change into our ceremony outfits. And speaking of photo ops, the grounds are beautiful and have tons of options for beautiful backdrops. We chose the Fairy Garden as our location, and since we were planning our wedding on a very short timeline, we didn’t have any extra decorations. We didn’t need them! It was the perfect secluded spot for us to say our vows with our family members, both human and canine (did we mention Stonegate is dog friendly?!). As I mentioned, we were planning our wedding with only about a month’s notice, and at first we thought that we’d just go to the courthouse. We can’t say how glad we are that we chose Stonegate instead. While we wanted the day to be a casual, stress free event, we also wanted it to be special and memorable. Having an elopement package that includes flowers, cake and other extras eliminated planning stress and decision fatigue, and Prudy is so easy to work with and was able to accommodate the requests we did have to make the day uniquely ours. If you are planning on having your wedding at Stonegate Manor, expect personalized customer service, consistent communication, and a warm welcome when you arrive for your big day.

Since 1830, this church has been a foundation of this community as the first and oldest recorded church within the quaint beach town of St. Joseph, Michigan. Now, we are opening our venue up to the community for booking weddings! Our rental fee for the ceremony space of $1385 includes: rental of the venue (indoor sanctuary/outdoor courtyard), officiant services, wedding coordinator, custodial services, and premarital counseling materials, and rehearsal time ($100 additional if you plan to serve food at the rehearsal). If the sanctuary is rented, the price also includes a computer operator/pianist & audio tech to run the sound system. The fellowship hall rental for reception is an additional $400-$500 ($400 M-F/$500 Sat-Sun).

we used the outside white pavilion as our rehearsal dinner space and welcome drinks and it was perfect! The set up was beautiful, with the harbor outside. The only thing they don't have a speaker or microphone so we had to bring our own & you have to decorate the tables on your own they do not provide any floral or décor. But if you know that upfront they are great to work with & food was good!

We had our ceremony and reception here, and could not have been happier. Valerie was SOO helpful throughout our 2 year engagement, responding to all of my texts with nothing but kindness and help. The days leading up to it, she had everything sorted out for the wedding to go off without a hitch. I did not notice any problems with the wedding, and when there were some Valerie quickly sorted it out without me noticing anything went wrong. The getting ready rooms, ceremony sites, barn, and outdoor locations were incredibly gorgeous, and I could not recommend this venue and staff more. Our guests all loved the venue and had a blast!

Solasta was a surprise to me in that it simply wasn’t on my radar, but I’m glad I stopped by when I saw it just off the road. The mulled wine I tried tasted great and wasn’t cloyingly sweet. The staff seemed very friendly and helpful, and the interior was warm and inviting. The wine menu was surprisingly large, and the mulled wine actually used multiple wines to get the profile they were after. It’s definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area and like wine.

A nice touch was being able to have dinner in the orchard, a last minute decision we made that was recommended by the team and ultimately helped the day flow better. The Off Map Glamping team from start to finish was IMPECCABLE. Ronny and Lisa’s attention to detail and really knowing what works best for their property, made our wedding perfect. We didn’t live near by so they let us pop by as much as we could, whenever we asked, they made it work. Everyone working on the property was knowledgeable, kind, and went above and beyond. You can tell they really love what they do and they will truly do anything to make sure your day is like none other. No words can describe how amazing and helpful the weekend event staff, D, Sara, Lisa’s father and another gentleman all equally helpful and SOOO kind. We never felt like a bother but more so family. We had so many guests and vendors say that this wedding at Off Map Glamping was the best they’ve ever attended thus far and that would not have been remotely possible without the people mentioned above. We wish we could relive it over and over, it was that incredible. Connor and I will forever rave about this place and we are SO thankful we can come back to camp and visit!! This property stole a piece of our hearts and we know it will do the same for every couple that comes after us! We cannot recommend them enough. Bravo!
