How many videographers will be on-site for our wedding day?

Maurice will always be your lead videographer. Depending on your timeline and locations, Carrie may join as a second shooter to capture prep, decor, and extra details. We also set up multiple 4K cameras for different angles, but we’re careful to stay unobtrusive. Our goal is to capture your day naturally, not become part of it.

Will you be the ones editing our films, or do you use an outside editor?

Every edit you see, from the highlight to the full feature, is done by us personally. We believe the best edits come from the people who were actually there, hearing the laughter, feeling the energy, and knowing what moments truly mattered. We don’t use templates or outsource editing. Each film is hand-crafted to reflect your day, just as it happened.

What will be included in our highlight video?

Your highlight video is a 5–10 minute film that tells the story of your day in a beautifully condensed way. It will include a mix of visuals and audio — vows, speeches, cheering, clapping — set to a song that fits your day perfectly. We save plenty of special moments for your full feature film, so you’ll have both short and complete versions to enjoy.

What will be included in our full feature video?

Accepted Answer

Your full feature video includes your complete ceremony (from processional to recessional) and all key reception events such as introductions, speeches, cake-cutting, and first dances. You’ll also see extended highlight sections from prep, first look, cocktail hour, and open dancing. The average length is about 90 minutes, though it varies depending on your day (especially your ceremony). Everything is shown in chronological order — complete, but still watchable.

How do you select music for our videos?

We choose music that fits your day — emotionally, lyrically, and energetically. While some songs can’t be used due to copyright, we carefully select ones that reflect your “musical footprint” — the style and feeling of your wedding day. The right song ties every moment together, helping you feel your day all over again. Many couples tell us the song we chose becomes their new “our song.”

Is there a deposit fee?

To secure your date, a non-refundable deposit of $300 (applied toward your total balance) is due along with a signed agreement. The remaining balance is due two weeks (14 days) before your wedding day. You’re welcome to make additional payments toward the balance at any time before it’s due.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Accepted Answer

If you need to reschedule, we’ll do our best to accommodate your new date at no extra charge. If we’re unavailable for the new date, we’ll refund any payments you’ve made minus the $300 non-refundable deposit within 7–10 business days. If you need to cancel completely, it’s the same refund policy.

Why is the deposit non-refundable?

A non-refundable deposit is standard in the wedding industry. Once we reserve your date, we turn away other couples who inquire about that same day. If you cancel or reschedule for a date we can’t take, we lose the opportunity to book another event. The deposit helps cover that loss and ensures we can keep our pricing fair for all couples.

Do you have a contract or agreement?

Yes. To secure your date, we ask for a signed agreement and deposit. This confirms that your day is fully yours; we only film one wedding per day, so if you need us earlier or later than planned, it’s never an issue.

Do you use all of the audio you capture during the day?

Accepted Answer

We’re always recording, since we never know when something meaningful will be said. But don’t worry, we’ll only use audio that adds to your story. You’ll hear heartfelt moments from your vows, prep, and speeches, not random or off-topic chatter.

Question 11

What cameras do you use? Do you shoot in high-definition or 4K?

Accepted Answer

We primarily use two Sony FDR-AX700 cameras, along with extra cameras depending on the venue or space (GoPro 12, Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, and iPhone 17 Pro). We film everything in 4K for maximum quality. We don’t set up additional lighting, since we never want to interfere with your photographer’s setup or the natural lighting you’ve chosen for your day.

How do you capture audio? Will you put microphones on the couple?

We capture audio in several ways to make sure your vows, speeches, and special moments sound clear. We use small shotgun microphones attached to our Sony cameras during prep, first looks, ceremonies, and receptions. We also use a Zoom H5 audio recorder, usually connected to the DJ’s or venue’s sound system. We also utilize a discreet Bluetooth lapel microphone for the ceremony (that can also clip to a collar, pocket, suspenders, etc.). Our microphones are for recording only and are not used to project sound through speakers during your event.

Will you provide all the raw footage you captured?

We totally understand why couples ask this. Our full-feature videos are complete, story-driven films that include everything worth watching: Your full ceremony, key reception events, and all the good stuff in between. You’re not missing out on any meaningful footage. Raw files themselves aren’t really “watchable.” They come from multiple cameras and audio recorders, out of sync and unedited. There’s no color correction, no sound mixing, just hours of disconnected clips that would take professional software (and a lot of patience) to view properly.
