Ninety minutes from Washington, D.C., Willowood is a fully private countryside estate with a restored farmhouse, expansive grounds, and a reimagined barn area offering a distinctive destination for couples who want a relaxed, elevated wedding weekend. We host a limited number of weddings each year to keep the estate pristine and the experience truly high-touch. Most weddings at Willowood are structured as a multi-day celebration, so you’re not rushing in and out with another wedding right behind you. Willowood includes five king on-site suites for overnight stays (perfect for wedding party/family), plus plenty of nearby lodging options for guests. Many couples love using the estate for a welcome evening, wedding day, and a relaxed farewell brunch the next morning. We look forward to customizing an experience for you.

Stunning and Thoughtful Event Space
Willowood is such a stunning event space. The interior design and landscaping are so thoughtful and intentional—it’s clear how much care went into creating it. I especially love the old barn. There’s truly nothing else like it, and the way it’s been lovingly restored is incredible. They managed to honor the history of the property while also giving it a modern, fresh feel that works beautifully for today’s events. Everywhere you look, the rolling hills and gorgeous scenery make for the perfect backdrop. There are so many spots across the property that can be used in different ways, whether it’s for weddings, family reunions, retreats, or anything in between. What makes Willowood really stand out is its versatility—it has the ability to suit so many different event styles while still feeling personal and special. You can tell the owners poured their hearts into this place, and it shows in every detail.
