One of the largest treehouse resorts in the U.S. & on 75 woodland acres, the resort can best be described as authentic, calming, secluded. The aesthetic is comprised of sustainable vintage materials & touches of modern industrial. 100-year old barn siding & locally crafted hardware details is our way of mixing the old & new. Along with the venue, we offer 9 state-of-the-art treehouses 4 well appointed cabins and 2 country homes in our luxury lodging collection-2 treehouses were designed and built by the artful team from Animal Planet’s Treehouse Masters. This space is a two-story open-air venue and features barn beams, hardwood flooring, a vast solid oak staircase leading up to an upper level mezzanine with access to a second story outside deck. There is also a large covered deck on the main floor perfectly suited for a ceremony or cocktail reception before heading inside for dinner, where tables rest under white and crystal chandeliers and solid pine trusses add to venue’s charm.

If I could give them more stars, I would
The Mohicans was absolutely the right choice for hosting our December wedding. Their event staff was so helpful and knowledgeable and a specific shout out to Amy who managed our event on the day of. She never stopped moving if there was something to be done. She thought of questions and answered them proactively so that not every single question was directed towards me or my fiancé as we were trying to get ready. We took advantage of a couple of the add-ons that the Mohicans offered. Base price for our date (off-season) was near 4000. We chose to add-on an early set up (day before from 11am to 4pm), table/chairs set up, linen rentals, and decoration rentals. All in all we paid around 5,500. They have wonderful vendors on their recommended vendor list. I think we used three or four of them and they will also be getting stellar reviews from us. Communication was quick and easy, and the prices were very reasonable, not inflated. Every need was accommodated, and the whole day was magical.
Loved our Wedding!!
Had my wedding here a few months ago and I couldn't be happier! The venue was gorgeous and fun and the coordinating staff were nothing short of wonderful. They were organized, listened to us, let us pursue all of our wacky ideas, and were always kind. I had a particular difficult time planning this wedding due to health issues and family tragedies. It was a very difficult time for me. And the staff I spoke with were kind, understanding, helpful, and very responsive. I would choose this venue all over again without a second thought. Absolutely lovely
Great place to elope.
If you’re looking for somewhere to elope the Mohican treehouses is the perfect place to do so! They have many different packages to choose from! We didn’t have to worry about cake, flowers, or a photographer because they were able to do it all for us. We also did the private chef for dinner and it turned out so good! Highly recommend and the treehouse was so beautiful and even had an outdoor shower which was super cool. Thank you so much for our special day.
Our dream wedding!
The Mohicans is one of the most enchanting-looking spaces - we (and out guests) absolutely loved the venue and all of the natural beauty that came with it! The Mohican's team was present throughout the whole process and was very helpful as we navigated wedding planning. We even got compliments from our vendors appreciating how seamless it was working with the venue! We had the most beautiful day and we will always recommend the Mohican's!
