Our Lodge sits on 473 acres of state classified forest and wildlife habitat offering the premier destination in Northwest Indiana for a wedding day experience in its own class. Indulge in our opulent surroundings while creating lasting memories at our exquisite venue. Situated on the shores of Lake Liz, our reception hall offers breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. The venue is adorned with customizable outdoor lighting, ensuring the perfect ambiance for your wedding day. Whether you prefer an indoor or outdoor celebration, our facilities include indoor and outdoor sound systems, a picturesque covered bridge, and our signature Lodge—a quintessential backdrop for your ceremony and reception

Surrounded on all sides by water, this peninsula ceremony site sits in gorgeous forest canopy complimented preserve sourced seating.
Built by staff hands, this beautiful site sits adjacent to our reception area for a seamless and easy transition for your guests. Our bench seating was handmade from preserve sourced timber, and can be complimented by our vintage wood padded chairs for elderly or those who wish for traditional seating.

Lake Anna Ceremony Site
A setting with no equal, this intimate ceremony site is offered as an option to more intimate wedding ceremonies.
This site is surrounded by two private lakes in excess of 60 acres. It is offered as a ceremony site option (at no additional charge) to smaller and more intimate ceremonies. The site is on our preserve roughly 1.5 miles from the main lodge, and staff will shuttle ceremony attendees to the site, and back to the lodge, on our shuttle bus.

The Best Wedding Weekend Ever!
I would choose The Lodge at Rush Lakes a million times over! We traveled from Michigan for our wedding, and Logan and Dustin made the entire process seamless. From the start, they were incredibly accommodating, sending us photos, measurements, and virtual tours to help us plan from afar. The property itself is stunning. We stayed for two nights, and the house was beautiful, spotless, and easily fit our entire family and bridal party. Our guests obsessed over the pool, and the tunnels connecting the three buildings are such a cool, unique touch! What really sets this venue apart is the staff. Logan, Dustin, and the team felt like family. They helped us unpack cars, handled setup and teardown, and even drove us around on side-by-sides for our first look and on the pontoon for some downtime. They even had special code names for me and my husband! When the weather looked like it might take a turn, they already had a 'Plan B' ready to go so we didn't have to worry for a second. From start to finish, the team at The Lodge at Rush Lakes was quick, efficient, and incredibly helpful in planning our special day. The stunning property provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding, and the staff's recommendations for local vendors and day-of coordination ensured everything ran smoothly. The unique, fun space was a hit with all our guests, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our marriage. We're so grateful to the team at The Lodge for making our wedding day truly unforgettable.
A GEM in Northwest Indiana
We searched high and low for the perfect wedding venue in both Northwest Indiana and Chicago, and we’re so grateful we found The Lodge at Rush Lake. The setting was absolutely breathtaking for our indoor/outdoor summer celebration. It was the ideal blend of natural beauty and manicured elegance, all beside a peaceful lake. Logan and Dustin went above and beyond to ensure everything ran flawlessly. They were professional, organized, and genuinely enthusiastic about making our day perfect. Every vendor had exactly what they needed, and the entire event flowed seamlessly thanks to their care and attention. We and a few close friends stayed overnight at the Lodge, and it made the whole experience even more special. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully appointed — and having everyone under one roof made for such a fun and memorable after party. I’ll admit, I can be a pretty particular bride, but The Lodge at Rush Lake exceeded every expectation. It was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding day!
BEST PLACE EVER!
Once we found The Lodge at Rush Lakes for our wedding venue, we knew it was the one! Logan and Dustin are the most down to earth and thoughtful guys who helped make our wedding day everything we dreamt of, plus more! We met with them multiple times on the property to go over everything wedding related. We live over 2 hours away and this place was worth the drive every single time! I could not recommend Rush Lakes enough to anyone looking for a wedding venue, special occasion, reunion, family gathering, bridal shower, baby shower, etc. We also worked with a handful of vendors recommended by Logan that have done events at Rush Lakes before, so the process was so incredibly easy! Being able to spend the weekend with our pups, friends, and family before and after our wedding day made it so much more special too. Being able to have our dogs be a part of our day meant everything to us and Rush Lakes made that possible. The whole property is stunning, there is not one bad spot for photos! Everything was perfect and I could talk highly about Rush Lakes for days on end. THE PERFECT VENUE!!! I miss it every single day. Thank you Logan and Dustin for making the wedding of my dreams possible!!!
