Whether it’s formal or flannel, glitter or boots, we’ve got your day covered. This venue can adapt its industrial barn setting to suit your big day no matter the scale. A comfortable wedding for 50 to 300 happy guests. Feel free to dig in and discover the details but for the VIP tour, call us right away. The Grand Room elevates the concept of a "barn" with its industrial sleekness, rustic charm, and spacious, air-conditioned setting. Featuring fantastic acoustics, two lively bars, and 100% ADA accessibility, it caters to a diverse crowd, from great-grandmas to cowboy enthusiasts. With adaptable ambiance, it accommodates both intimate weddings and grand celebrations, seating up to 250 guests with a dance floor or 300 for a spacious experience. The all-glass garage doors provide an outdoor feel, allowing for creativity and enjoyment regardless of the weather.

The Design Barn Wedding
The Design Barn was an exceptional choice for our wedding venue. From the moment we first reached out, the team (especially Alex!) was incredibly thorough, patient, and kind in guiding us through the planning process. Their design team’s expertise was truly unique - they listened closely to our vision and brought it to life. If you’re interested in using their team for wedding decor, please do it! You will not regret it, I cannot speak highly enough of how fantastic of a job they did. The food was delicious thanks to the chef, Jorge, who made sure we loved the menu and enjoyed everything in our dinner package. Our guests raved about the quick and attentive service as well as the cool atmosphere that the Design Barn offers. We felt so special and taken care of on our big day, thanks to the incredible team at The Design Barn. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue to celebrate our marriage!

Everything about our wedding at this venue was absolutely perfect. From the very beginning of the planning process through the end of our wedding day, the entire experience was seamless, stress free, and truly exceeded our expectations. Alex, our host, went above and beyond in every possible way. Their communication, organization, and attention to detail made the entire planning process feel easy and enjoyable. On the day of the wedding, Alex ensured everything ran smoothly behind the scenes, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy every moment without worry. Knowing we were in such capable hands made all the difference. The food was outstanding. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the meal was, from the presentation to the flavor. It was clear that a lot of care and pride goes into the culinary experience, and it showed. The venue itself was beautiful, well maintained, and thoughtfully set up for both the ceremony and reception. Every detail came together perfectly, creating an atmosphere that felt elegant, welcoming, and exactly what we envisioned for our wedding day. We could not have asked for a better experience or a better team to work with. If you are looking for a venue that delivers exceptional service, incredible food, and a truly stress free wedding day, this is it. Communication with The Design Barn was perfect throughout the entire process. The space was huge and beautiful, providing the perfect backdrop for our wedding day. The team was very helpful in making our day perfect in every way, ensuring all the details were taken care of so we could fully enjoy ourselves. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and would highly recommend The Design Barn to any couple looking to get married.

I did not have a wedding here but I am the event coordinator for my sorority at Valpo. When I first reached out they gave me a high quote and I explained my limited budget and situation. They worked with me to make it all possible and still a glamorous event. All of the women in my sorority and even the men of the fraternity we partnered with had an amazing time and I got nothing but praise for finding such an amazing venue. From the food, to the attention to detail everything I possibly thought could go wrong went perfectly and it is all thanks to the staff at the Design Barn.
