About this venue
The Beacon is a historic event venue in downtown Topeka, housed in the former Topeka Woman’s Club building. Restored to its 1920s eclectic elegance and located just down the block from the Kansas Statehouse, The Beacon spans more than 25,000 square feet across three floors. It offers multiple, character-rich spaces—including a theater for ceremonies, a speakeasy-style Founders Room lounge and a third-floor ballroom with twin balconies and city views.

Thank you so much to The Beacon for helping make our wedding day absolutely perfect! We celebrated our big day there on May 24th, and everything from start to finish was truly magical. The venue itself is breathtaking; the historic charm, stunning stained glass, and grand wood-banistered staircase created the perfect backdrop for our wedding theme. We were lucky to work with an incredible team of vendors, many of whom were recommended by The Beacon, and they were phenomenal. The staff at The Beacon went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, and we’re so grateful for their support and professionalism. We truly couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting or a more seamless experience!
