This ground floor event space has historic 1912 details, including a mezzanine that looks down on to the main floor. A full bar, tables and chairs, and pa system are included in all rentals.

The Baker Building Ballroom
The Baker Building is a historic wedding and event venue in North Portland, Oregon.
The 2,000 square foot ballroom features 18 foot ceilings with exposed rafters and solid oak floors with a stunning herringbone design. The ballroom features two attached private suites and a 600 square foot catering kitchen complete with serving stations, sinks and refrigeration. A professional sound system, an HD projector, microphones, tables and chairs are included in the rental fee.

Beautiful venue, wonderful owners
The venue is absolutely gorgeous, with so many architectural details like exposed rafters and herringbone flooring that added so much beauty to our wedding. My husband and I are history nerds and loved how timeless the space felt. From the moment we first reached out to The Baker Building, we were impressed by how friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive the owners are. They were incredibly helpful in setting up our tables and chairs for a small fee, and also assisted us in finding the perfect vendors to complete our wedding day vision. We highly recommend The Baker Building for a unique wedding venue experience in Portland.
Perfect and Cozy
From the moment we booked The Baker Building for our rehearsal dinner, the owners were incredibly responsive and thoughtful in their communication. The style and layout of the venue was perfect for our intimate gathering, creating a cozy and comfortable atmosphere for our fall rehearsal dinner. The quality of their work and attention to detail was evident in the clean, well-appointed space that was perfect for our event. The Baker Building is a truly unique wedding venue with so much vintage charm and character. The building itself has numerous cute corners for great portraits, it is located in a fun neighborhood, and has a great facade. There is also lovely landscaping around the immediate building that provides a variety of backdrop options for photos. Peninsula Park is only a couple of blocks away as well. The space itself is incredibly versatile and can be transformed to fit any couple's vision. I have photographed several events here and always excited to go back. I highly recommend The Baker Building to any couple looking for a one-of-a-kind wedding experience.
