About this venue

We are a family-owned and operated winery located in Denver. Our award-winning wines are traditionally handcrafted, without addition of sulfites or other chemicals. The tasting room and vineyard is located just 10 minutes from downtown Denver. When visiting you will be welcomed by John Balistreri, his wife Birdie or their daughter Julie. We offer tastings of our award winning wines and a tour of our wine cellar and winemaking facilities. It's also a great location to host a lively bridal shower or wedding, with custom menu and wine options available.

The Ballroom

The Balistreri Event Center Ballroom is designed to accommodate up to 250 guests comfortably and up to 1,000+ guests in warm weather months. The Event Center Ballroom strikes the perfect balance between rustic and modern elegance. With our vaulted ceilings, beautifully lit garden, mezzanine and grand staircase, and romantic wine cellar, the photo opportunities here are truly unique.

    After touring a few venues, we knew right away that Balistreri Vineyards Event Center was the one. The tall ceilings, natural light, and indoor/outdoor setup made it easy to have both our ceremony and reception in the same place. The team at Balistreri, Mattie, and Mariah was terrific to work with. They were always quick to respond, super helpful, and made the planning process feel manageable instead of overwhelming. The food deserves its own shoutout because it was so good. We’re still getting compliments from guests about it, and we loved that the tasting was done as an event with other couples; it made the experience fun and relaxed, not stressful. There were so many thoughtful details throughout the day. The cellar space was a great hangout spot, having early access to the bridal suite made getting ready feel calm and unrushed, and we loved having the flexibility to decorate as much or as little as we wanted. The venue offers so many options to make the day feel like yours. The pricing was also very reasonable for everything that’s included. Even with a smaller guest count, the space still felt full and like a big celebration. The bridal suite is a bit older and on the smaller side, so it might not be ideal for a large bridal party, but it worked just fine for us and didn’t take away from the day at all. We honestly can’t say enough good things about Balistreri Vineyards Event Center. If you’re looking for a beautiful, flexible venue with fantastic food and a relaxed, welcoming vibe, this is such a great choice.

    We truly can not recommend Balistreri and the team there enough!! Mattie, Mariah and their team were instrumental in making our wedding day successful. They answered every question we had before, during and after our wedding day. The team set up everything so quickly and perfectly. From the beautiful outdoor space with the vines and lights to the spacious inside for dinner and dancing to the wine cellar for people to get ready, this place does it all and does it well!!

    My wife and I had a great experience working with Mattie and the Balistreri team! They made the decision making process very easy and were great at communicating throughout the planning. They were happy to accommodate our 30 person wedding, but can do hundreds. We went to the pre-wedding food tasting, and that was very helpful. We had lots of compliments on the food. The wedding went beautifully and we even came in under budget!

    Balistreri Vineyards was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the beginning their team was very responsive to any email questions we had. We LOVED getting to do a tasting menu at the sight a few months prior to our wedding to sample all of the different appetizer, dinner, and dessert options available ahead of picking our menu. On the day of they set everything up so that we didn't have to stress and were just able to enjoy the day. Beyond that the venue itself is just stunning. We didn't want to have to bring lots of decorations and they weren't even necessary at Balistreri. We had very minimal decor, but it didn't look like it. We would HIGHLY recommend Balistreri Vineyards for anyone looking to get married in the Denver area.
