Something Blue Planning + Coordinating, founded by a mother-daughter team in O’Fallon, Missouri, helps couples across the St. Louis area and beyond bring their wedding dreams to life. Launched in 2022 after years of planning for friends, we believe in one simple approach: your wedding, your vision. From creative ideas and timelines to vendor coordination, setup, décor, and tear-down, we handle the details so you can enjoy every moment. Packages range from day-of coordination to full-service planning, all designed to make your wedding seamless and unforgettable.
Each couple works one-on-one with a dedicated coordinator who understands your vision, vibe, and priorities. Behind the scenes, our team collaborates constantly, sharing ideas and solving challenges so your day runs seamlessly. While you’ll have a main point of contact, you’ll always have the full support of Something Blue. We believe transparency, peace of mind, and quick problem-solving are essential. | Description | With our Ever After package your planner will manage all logistics, budget, vendor bookings, timeline creation, décor design and implementation, and every behind-the-scenes detail. Clients can be as involved as they wish. They are welcome to oversee every detail and attend all meetings, or leave the finer points to the planner and simply take care of the essentials - like approving major decisions, signing contracts, and making vendor payments. | Our Forever Package includes 4 planning meetings (up to 4 hours each), wedding templates to help you get organized, coordination of your rehearsal, and 12 hours of coordination on your wedding day, including assistance with decor setup and tear down. | Our Keep It Simple Package includes 2 wedding prep meetings, wedding templates to help you get organized, and 8 hours of day-of wedding coordination. Add on services are available for additional hours of coordination, decor management, rehearsal coordination, etc. | Custom packages are available for wedding templates only, wedding/timeline prep only, ceremony coordination only, and reception coordination only. Add-on options are also available to add on to any of our packages, including management of decor setup/tear down, rehearsal coordination, addition of a second coordinator for large weddings, and more. |

Couldn’t Have Done It Without Them!
Desiree was phenomenal, we truly couldn’t have done it without her. She was incredibly helpful with curating ideas, coordinating with vendors, creating timelines, and reassuring me and my family throughout the year leading up to the wedding. On our wedding day, we received so much positive feedback from our wedding party about her execution, organization, and problem-solving, many things we didn’t even realize were happening because Desiree handled everything so seamlessly. When I felt stressed about greeting all of our guests at the reception, she immediately calmed me down and helped rearrange the evening so everything still flowed perfectly. Something Blue Planning Coordinating was extremely professional, organized, and personable. We felt like more than just clients, and every part of our experience felt truly personalized to us.

Desiree has truly been a joy to work with, from the moment I got engaged until after wedding day, she held my hand every step of the way! She listened to my endless ideas with confidence, scoured the internet for hours looking for decor I could snag, showed up while I was always running late, and never once made it feel like it was too much. Through it all, she made my vision come alive on wedding day more than I could have ever imagined! We can't thank you enough for handling our day with such grace and care, even in the middle of a shuttle disaster, you took every ounce of stress or worry off of us.

Meagan from Something Blue was such a steady, thoughtful guide throughout our whole planning process. She kept us organized, stayed on top of every detail, and somehow made everything feel easy. On the wedding day she went above and beyond, from hemming a groomsman’s pants to helping decorate our ceremony cross at the very last minute—no hesitation, just done.
