My name is Katie Cole, and I am the Founder/Head Planner at Palmetto River Planning. I have been planning weddings and events since 2021, and decided to establish my own company in Spring of 2024. I am trustworthy, honest, dedicated, and am known for paying close attention to detail. With a passion for this industry, it is my personal goal to make every couple a member of the Palmetto River family and ensure that all our couple's have a worry-free and magical day.

I am dedicated, trust-worthy, pay a great attention to detail, fun, and organized! I am big on great communication and love helping my clients. I truly take the time to get to know all my clients and become part of their family!

    PRP was easily the BEST use of money for our wedding!! I am a very organized gal and did a lot of planning, gathering decor, DIY projects myself - but there is absolutely no way I could have done the actual wedding day without these ladies! They truly put everything together and made all of the planning and organization HAPPEN! The communication with this team is SO easy! A simple walk-through and quick rehearsal was perfect for the entire wedding party to have an idea of what was to happen the following day. Katie and McKenzie listened to all of my desires and made sure they were all met. On my actual wedding day, I did not have to worry about a dang thing, lift a finger, or make any decisions - it was all done for me by ladies that I truly trusted would make the everything happen just the way I had envisioned. They absolutely delivered on every part of the wedding from coordinating everyone throughout the day, decorating the venue, breaking down after the wedding, and directing vendors throughout the day of the wedding as well. If you want your wedding day to be stress-free & full of ease, Katie and her team are your GALS for the job!! 33

    Palmetto River Planning was the absolute BEST. We couldn't have done any of this without their help. In the short amount of time of knowing them they made us feel completely comfortable with coming to them about any and everything. We have no complaints from our wedding day. They were extremely professional about everything!

    Katie and her team are absolutely wonderful—I was a relatively DIY bride who needed a day-of coordinator, but Katie improved upon my plans by asking me questions about details I hadn’t even thought about in the planning process. She was always down with whatever my husband and I wanted to do, and was happy to offer suggestions where we may not have had a strong opinion or an idea on what to do. Communication was always swift and clear, which was a huge relief among all the other stressors of wedding planning I sincerely appreciated that the team was able to take my bins of decor and make something beautiful out of it while I got ready for the wedding that day! It was great knowing I could put complete faith into the staff to keep things rolling.
