With 16 years of experience and a B.S. in Photographic Technology from UCF, my work is rooted in technical mastery. My education was a rigorous study of editorial, fashion, and documentary photography-a foundation that allows me to apply the precision of a studio artist to the fast-paced environment of a wedding day. My passion for storytelling is fueled by my life. When I’m not documenting love stories, I’m immersed in creativity with my two children, Felix and Fiona. They remind me daily of the importance of preserving life’s most precious chapters. At home, life is beautifully chaotic run by "The Cows" (my matching black & white pets).
Influenced by the greats like Irving Penn and Annie Leibovitz, my "loose editorial" style results in imagery that is true-to-color and timeless. I am dedicated to ensuring the vibrancy of your day is preserved exactly as it felt. I believe the best art is created when you feel seen and comfortable. My day-of energy is a calm, grounded presence; I act as a steady hand, planning alongside you to curate a body of work that reflects your aesthetic. Holy cow.. I wish there were enough words to express how AMAZING Michelle and her assistant were. From the beginning, Michelle communicated so well and so clearly that I actually felt seen, heard and understood. After getting my wedding photos, she just solidified how much I LOVE her. She delivered photos that were beyond anything I could’ve imagined. I will cherish these photos and the memories forever.
Pure Magic from Start to Finish
Michelle and her assistant Adriana were absolutely incredible from the very first phone call through the entire wedding experience. From the start, Michelle made us feel confident and cared for. On our wedding day, it poured, but you would never know it from how positive, calm, and patient they both were. They kept everyone smiling and helped us stay relaxed and present through it all. They went above and beyond to bring our must have photo requests to life and somehow made the lighting and backgrounds look perfect despite the weather. Their work is pure magic. The preview photos took our breath away. They perfectly captured the emotion, beauty, and joy of the day. Every time we look at them, we feel like we’re right back in that moment. Michelle, you are so talented, and we are beyond thankful for everything you did to make our day so special. We cannot wait to see the full gallery. Our New Orleans Elopement ()
Our experience with Michelle was truly exceptional. From the moment we began, Michelle and her team put us at ease with their comfortable, easy-going, and collaborative communication style. Her stylized, professional, and editorial approach to capturing our special day was exactly what we were looking for. She took beautiful shots of us getting ready and also posed around the beautiful boutique Ace hotel before accompanying us to the historic Algiers courthouse for our ceremony. She even captured us riding the Canal Street ferry and enjoying beignets at Cafe du Monde. Michelle's keen eye has made our New Orleans elopement feel all the more intimate and memorable. We could not be happier with the stunning photos that will allow us to relive our special day for years to come.
