We are a group of photographers with over decades of experience collectively in both the creative and managerial side of the wedding industry. Our core beliefs are centered around providing a white glove experience for our clients and their guests. This is more than just “another party” it’s your legacy that we’re documenting for your family. We are very selective with the couples we serve as to ensure we can provide all of our couples with the highest level of care. It starts with a short convo. From the very first moment we met John, we knew we were in amazing hands and he exceeded every expectation. John was there for our intimate Catholic ceremony with just our immediate family, and then again two days later for our larger celebration with all of our extended family and friends. Having him present for both moments meant the world to us. He didn’t just show up, he showed up with the same positive energy, kindness, and excitement every single time. He is truly one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Always in a great mood, endlessly encouraging, and somehow able to make you feel completely comfortable even when emotions are running high. My husband is extremely camera-shy, and John managed to make him feel so relaxed that he honestly came alive in the photos. Seeing those moments captured so naturally is something I will treasure forever. John made the entire experience fun, joyful, and effortless. We never once felt awkward or staged, just supported and genuinely excited to be in front of the camera. I will absolutely be using him again in the future and recommending him to everyone I know. If you are looking for a photographer who is not only incredibly talented but also a wonderful human being, John is the one.

As a wedding planner and coordinator, there is nothing more valuable than a GREAT PHOTOGRAPHER! I have had the pleasure of working alongside Johnny for many weddings and even in front of the camera and each time, he has not only produced EXCELLENT galleries, but is easy to work with and makes the day so stress-free for the couples. I have witnessed personally his constant pursuit of excellence on all fronts. I simply could not recommend John Shaw Photography more!

Johnny went above and beyond our expectations! From the beginning stages before we had officially booked with him all the way through post wedding- he was super friendly, communicative, and personable. Johnny made my husband and I feel immediately comfortable with him and in front of the camera... he truly has felt like more of a friend than just a wedding vendor. We loved him so much we've suggested him to anyone we know who needs a photographer. You truly will not regret booking him!

He has a true eye for capturing a moment. His attention to detail is exactly what I was looking for. He has a real talent and ability to capture his subjects and highlight the surroundings of the moment all at the same time. I think John is amazing at what he does, and it was a total pleasure working with him for my engagement shoot and on my wedding day. His works speaks for itself. Can’t say enough good things about John as a human and professionally. You won’t regret it!
