Hi there! My name is Sarah(she/they) & I’m a wedding photographer based in The Adirondacks of New York. Photography is my passion, so don’t worry, your big moments are safe with me. My goal as a photographer is to (of course) deliver stunning, high-quality photos, but also, I want you to feel as comfortable as possible while you’re in front of the camera. We’re in this together. I pair a technical degree with a natural eye for composition to capture your special day! ​

I will bring the same level of passion and enthusiasm to each photo session regardless of the subject matter. As a photographer, my goal is to help you capture moments, big and small. Life is fleeting, and it’s so important to preserve moments of pure joy and love.

    Hawthorn Photography was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding. From the start, their communication style was easy, respectful and direct, which made planning the photography coverage a breeze. On the day of the wedding, Sarah from Hawthorn Photography was a calming presence, capturing genuine, fun and light-hearted moments throughout the celebration. My husband, who isn't usually one for photos, was quickly put at ease by Sarah's friendly demeanor, and we ended up with amazing pictures that truly captured the joy and love of our special day. We couldn't be happier with the quality of Hawthorn Photography's work and the exceptional value they provided. Highly recommended!

    Hawthorn Photography was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding! From the very first meeting, Sarah and Drew were so easy to talk to and we felt like we connected with them very quickly. They are very professional but do not make you feel pressured at all - Sarah has great ideas and really hypes you up throughout the process. Drew always found creative ways to shoot the day and Sarah was there for me every step of the way, even when I needed quick help with my dress. Sarah is so dependable and the pictures they captured showcase both of their talents and our love so well. I'd pick Hawthorn Photography for photos for every occasion and in every lifetime!

    Sarah is someone that genuinely cares about you and the quality of the photos she will give you for your wedding day. She has a degree in photography and it shows!
