Hi, I’m Carson, and I’m based in Columbia, SC! I have been photographing weddings and elopements for over seven years across the country. I recently moved to South Carolina from California, where I lived in Yosemite National Park. While my primary focus is wedding photography, I am also a biologist, which brought me to this beautiful state. I love expressing my creative side through photography and witnessing the joy it brings to my clients. I specialize in a blend of editorial and documentary-style photography. I aim to capture natural moments as the day unfolds, but I’m also happy to give gentle guidance when needed.

My editing style is natural and timeless—full of life and color without being overly filtered. On your wedding day, I bring a calm, reassuring presence to help you feel at ease. I’ll gently guide you through poses while also capturing the authentic, candid moments that matter most. With backup gear and full insurance, you can relax knowing everything is covered. We booked Carson for our 2026 wedding and I can say, she was the best choice we could've made for our wedding photography. From the very first call, she was incredibly informative, quick to respond to our questions, and provided helpful suggestions that made the planning process smooth. We've only had our engagement photo session so far but she captured some of the most beautiful shots and exceeded our expectations. Carson is incredibly communicative and easy to connect with. The quality of her work truly has a "WOW" factor that makes me keep looking at our photos over and over again. I have a new favorite every time, it's made picking one for our invitations incredibly difficult! I'm so happy that we'll have these for the rest of our lives and can't wait to see what she does for our wedding photos!

We have no regrets with Carson photographing our surprise proposal and engagement photos! There were a lot unknown variables on the day of the proposal and Carson was very flexible and helpful through it all. She even came back out the next morning to finish our engagement session because of a surprise rain storm. She is kind and knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Book her for your engagement, you won't regret it!

Carson is the BEST! We did our engagement and courthouse ceremony shoot with her. She made us feel so comfortable and the photos came out amazing - we got them printed into books for Christmas gifts! We got the perfect amount of staged/candid photos, and her editing is amazing! We are so happy we chose her as our wedding photographer and can’t wait to see the moments she captures next year!
