This is Cait Patton Photography; a wedding photographer whose business is built on honesty, trust, and intention. Based in Chesterfield, Virginia, serving YOU from Virginia to North Carolina, trusted in capturing love stories and memories for the people in them, not for a portfolio or for Instagram feed. Solo or with my second shooter, we will be present with you, experiencing the honest moments, real tears, true laughs, and heartfelt embraces with you.

While I do give small petals of guidance for more of the classic photos, my responsibility as your wedding photographer isn't to manufacture moments or manage you like your wedding is my production. Because your wedding ISN'T a production; it's a once in a lifetime, lived through day and experience. A day you planned intentionally and personally from the details to the guests invited. A day so personal and meaningful deserves the same personable, honest preservation and experience. I can't wait to slow down, and be present with you to capture, preserve, and experience your irreplaceable moments. ❤️

    Cait was absolutely amazing to work with. She helped me pull off a surprise proposal for my fiancée by blending perfectly into the crowd and capturing the exact moment I got down on one knee. The photos of that moment are priceless she caught every emotion beautifully. Right after the proposal, Cait continued with a spontaneous photo session around the area, and the pictures turned out incredible. She made us both feel comfortable and excited during the shoot, and her creativity really showed through in the final photos. I can’t thank her enough for helping make such an important day unforgettable. I’d recommend Cait Patton Photography to anyone who wants genuine, heartfelt photos of life’s biggest moments.

    We used Cait for our wedding ceremony and reception in September. We had such a wonderful experience with her! From working with me before the wedding to pre plan and prepare to then “winging it” with me the actual day of the wedding- as NOTHING went as planned the day of despite months of preparation! She was so encouraging, supportive, as well as professional. Her knowledge and experience in weddings was a huge plus and extremely helpful.
