With over 10 years of makeup artistry experience and a licensed esthetics background, I approach every bride with both artistry and skincare expertise. I’ve had the privilege of working at one of the top salons in Columbus, where I was recognized with awards for education and guest excellence, featured on Good Day Columbus, and served as an educator, training mentors and new estheticians & inspiring makeup artists. This experience shaped my approach to client care, artistry, and professionalism.

What sets me apart is my true commitment to comfort, communication, and customization. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all bridal glam. Every look is thoughtfully crafted around your features, your vision, and your unique style. I take the time to understand your skin, prep it with high-end techniques and products, and create a seamless experience from your bridal preview to the final touch before you walk down the aisle.

    Shy was so wonderful to our whole group! Not only did we end up having 2 extra ladies ask to get their makeup done, but she accommodated ALL of our makeup wants and needs (we had a large range of complexions too) on time. I had a tear-filled reception and was sweating buckets out on the dance floor all night but looking at my makeup, you'd have had no idea! If you are looking for someone who can adapt to anything, fit in with a fun (and a tad chaotic) group of ladies, and who is incredibly talented, I highly recommend you go with Shy.

    Shy is so sweet and friendly! I booked bridal makeup and flower girl makeup. She knows what works well with different skin tones, has a variety of products to try, and talked to me about my full wedding vision to get an understanding of what vibe I wanted for the makeup. I was so thankful for this because I’m not a makeup girl and wasn’t sure what I wanted/needed. My initial trial went well and it looked great, but I decided that it wasn’t quite right so she offered for me to come back to do a second trial at a discounted rate. She took detailed notes and photos to make sure she could recreate the look on my special day. Wedding day went smoothly with no stress! Airbrushing was amazing and she even applied it to the rosacea on my arms for me. A spot of foundation on my nose did rub off on to the groom’s jacket during photos, but I think it was due to the warm weather and a little bit of sweating on my face. She was really great with the four-year-old flower girl, who loved having a princess moment in the makeup chair. I definitely recommend Shy!

    Shy is the best! I found her randomly and kind of last minute to do my wedding makeup, and she was so friendly and easy to work with. She made the whole process seamless and my makeup looked so beautiful!! She was on time (I started getting ready at 7am because it was a brunch wedding, so I was anxious about start time) but she made everything easy and I am so thankful for her! I scheduled a facial for after the wedding with her because she was so great!

    I can’t say enough wonderful things about Shy! She made me feel absolutely stunning on my wedding day — but still like myself, which was so important to me. She listened to exactly what I wanted, gave expert suggestions, and made the whole experience calm, fun, and flawless (literally!). My makeup lasted all day and night — through happy tears, dancing, and hugs — and still looked perfect in every photo. I couldn’t have asked for a better artist to be part of such a special day. I highly, highly recommend her!
