    We had booked Chanel and her team to do my family and my makeup for an event. We chose the hair, makeup, and saree draping package. I will say the hair and makeup she did on myself was great. I received many compliments. She had an assistant to do my family members hair but Chanel had to intervene and re-adjust a family members hairstyle to improve it. My mom’s makeup was orange and I had to go in and adjust it with my mom’s own makeup. She advertises saree draping and she said she has a person on her team that has experience and that this person has numerous drawings. I had asked for pictures of the stylists' previous work for a peace of mind. However, she sent photos of clients of the work done by a different saree draper who I personally know. She literally took pictures from another drapists work and claimed it as her own. On the day of, the stylist had no idea what she was doing and my family members had to guide her throughout the whole draping process and pretty much do it themselves. She advertised a touch up bag for myself and my three other family members and we never received that. For the price she charged, I would say it was not worth it especially with how much my family members had to fix their makeup and sarees themselves.

    Working with Chanel was actually the worst part of my wedding day. I was trying to stay calm after everything she put me through because I did not want to let this one person ruin my wedding day. She was so unresponsive day before my wedding when trying to get a timeline as I had 5 bridesmaids. I booked Chanel in 2024 which gave her enough time to get her schedule in order but then last minute had to hire another artist Brooke to help her out. Mind you Chanel didn’t even touch any of the other bridesmaids just did the bride. If it wasn’t for Brooke coming into help with makeup we would have been screwed. Seems like Chanel double booked herself and made it an hour and 40 minutes LATE! Which is insane! She never gave an explanation or apology. The service was sub-par honestly, I had to get someone else to touch up my make-up after she left. I was trying to be as calm and nice but I was very anxious as we had a schedule to go off on. Honestly all of this was so unprofessional and even her other makeup artist said they would never operate like how Chanel was operating. I would not recommend Brushed Agency or working with Chanel again. She kept mentioning that the bride experience needed to be great to my wedding planner but SHE WAS THE ONE CAUSING THE STRESS.
