Something's Blooming is a wedding and special occasion florist in the LA area committed to designing art-forward floral designs that tell the stories of our clients. We specialize in whimsical, garden-inspired designs and are known for our unique, wearable floral designs (check out our floral tattoos!) We love outside-the-box thinkers, art lovers, kind and inquisitive types who are easy to talk to and people who march to the beat of their own drum! We are LGBTQ owned & operated and use sustainable practices. Our favorite part of doing weddings is taking that one inspo image and finding ways to reinvent it into every element of an event.

Somethings Blooming is the BEST
We cannot say enough wonderful things about Somethings Blooming LA and Michelle Lane. After our original florist cancelled with less than six months before our wedding, Michelle truly came to the rescue — and working with her ended up being one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From our very first meeting, Michelle’s artistic and collaborative approach stood out immediately. Talking with her felt completely different from every other florist we considered. She genuinely listened, asked thoughtful questions, and made me feel like my vision was truly understood — not just filtered into a cookie-cutter template. Every meeting felt creative, intentional, and reassuring. Michelle was not our least expensive option, but we wholeheartedly felt her expertise, guidance, and artistry were absolutely worth the investment. The value she brings goes far beyond flowers — it’s her eye, her experience, and her ability to translate ideas into something truly special. Even my then-fiancé (now husband!) became a massive fan. He doesn’t warm up to people easily and is usually very skeptical throughout the planning process, but he couldn’t say enough good things about Michelle and working with her. That alone says a lot. My bouquet was beyond stunning — unique, thoughtful, and exactly what I had hoped for. It felt so personal and special. The rest of the florals completely transformed the space and brought everything together so beautifully. We are endlessly grateful to Michelle and Somethings Blooming LA for their talent, professionalism, and heart. She completely understood it. Every conversation, every idea, every tiny detail we mentioned was absorbed, considered, and then brought to life in the most breathtaking way. What she created for our wedding went far beyond flowers and décor, it was storytelling through the most amazing blooms. The thoughtfulness woven into every piece was extraordinary. From incorporating deeply sentimental elements into meaningful spaces, to creating the most incredible floral arch and personal boutonnières we could ever have imagined, every arrangement felt intentional, personal, and filled with care. Incredible Work
Michelle is absolutely amazing. She put so much effort into making the flowers perfect for our wedding. Every single flower and detail was carefully crafted and it blew us away. Her communication was excellent and she was able to see our vision for the wedding and then exceed all expectations while keeping us within budget. She is so creative and truly a master of her craft. Look no further if you need flowers, you won't find anyone better.
The most beautiful florals!
Michelle and her team designed all of our florals for our wedding and were so happy with how everything turned out. From our first call with Michelle, it was easy to tell she has so much knowledge and experience and the utmost professionalism. From our design meeting, even though it was online, she had the full set up totally made and ready to see in action. Our wedding was a bit after tariffs could have really impacted the initial quote of our floral design budget but she was really communicative and proposed great alternatives. The day of, the floral design was so beautiful! My bouquet was the bouquet of my dreams! Truly everyone at the wedding said how the florals made the wedding so exquisite. Above that, Michelle and her team were so lovely and kind. Could not recommend them more!
