Cultura Cakes LLC runs its operations from a Cottage food kitchen, which is exempt from Florida's Health regulations. However, we are duly registered with the state of Florida and maintain comprehensive insurance coverage.

Does your price include delivery?

Accepted Answer

Prices exclude delivery and set up. Customers have the option to pick up their order. If delivery and set up are needed, a delivery fee will be charged depending on the distance. Cultura Cakes will arrange your cake and treats on a designated table during delivery. Please note that we are not responsible for setting up any additional decorations or plating, other than our cake and treats.

Do you offer custom designs?

Cultura Cakes takes great pride in crafting personalized cakes. While we do request inspiration photos, we incorporate elements from each image to design a unique custom cake specifically tailored to your wedding.

Do you offer cake alternatives?

Accepted Answer

We can provide faux cakes upon request; however, the design options are limited. If you choose a faux cake, we will also provide a kitchen cake option to serve to your guests. Please note that opting for a faux cake does not guarantee a lower price, as it still requires assembly and decoration.

How do I know what size to order?

In our first meeting, I will inquire about the number of guests you plan to serve and if you are interested in a tiered cake. Using this information, I will then talk about the sizes, tiers, and serving portions for your cake.

Does your price include tastings?

Accepted Answer

Our prices do not cover the cost of cake tastings. However, we offer cake tasting boxes for sale on our website, which can be conveniently picked up at your preferred time. Should you choose to proceed with ordering your wedding cake from us, the amount paid for the tasting box will be put towards the deposit of your order.

What special cake items are included?

Our packages include up to 10 stems of silk flowers at no extra cost. These are only included in the Glitz and Glam package. However, any wedding cake toppers or real flowers will incur an additional charge for the couple. If a cake stand is required, there will be an extra fee and a rental agreement must be signed.

How far do you deliver?

We offer delivery services to customers throughout Central Florida and the surrounding areas. The delivery fee is determined by the distance and starts at $50. While customers have the option to pick up their orders, delivery is required for wedding cake orders.

We provide an assortment of flavors and fillings to cater to diverse preferences. Our selection includes enticing options such as the indulgent moist chocolate cake and the moist Almond Puerto Rican cake, among numerous others. Do you offer cakes covered in fondant?

We do not provide cakes with fondant covering. We believe that fondant detracts from the cake's flavors and results in a significant amount of wasted cake, potentially making it soggy. Our focus is on presentation, and we guarantee that our buttercream is flawlessly smooth, resembling fondant in appearance. If an inspiration picture is sent that is fondant covered, we will ask you to provide an alternative design represented in buttercream for inspiration.

How early should I book my wedding cake?

It is highly advisable to make a reservation for your wedding cake well in advance, preferably between 6 months to 1 year ahead of time. The earlier the better. However, at Cultura Cakes, we understand that sometimes last-minute arrangements are necessary. Depending on the availability, size, and complexity of the design, we can accommodate wedding cake orders with as little as 2 weeks notice. How much dessert do I need?

Accepted Answer

If serving only cake, you can count one slice of cake per guests. However, when you have a variety of delicious options, guests will like to try more. We recommend counting 2-3 pieces of dessert per guest.

Where should I place my dessert table/cake table

Accepted Answer

Your wedding planner or event coordinator will assist you with the layout, but we suggest selecting a location where the table is easily seen by guests and from the dance floor. If you're having an outdoor wedding, be sure to pick a shaded area to keep everyone comfortable and out of the sun.

Do I need platters or dessert stands?

Cake stands have the power to elevate your dessert table, transforming it into a stunning centerpiece. Begin with a beautiful cake stand for your main cake, then harmonize the other platters and stands around it. Opt for a color scheme—whether it’s white, clear, gold, or wood—and mix various heights and shapes of stands and platters in that palette. A good guideline is to include one platter for every 25 dessert pieces to ensure a well-balanced display.

Do you or can you replicate my Inspiration picture?

We do not replicate or copy inspiration pictures. Inspiration photos are for ideas only. We will use the photo to gain ideas of the style and theme but our final design will be different.
