Now in their 27th year, No Macarena DJ & Custom Music Service is an alternative to the typical wedding DJ experience, located in Philadelphia, PA. Founder,Kim Alexander, a former seasoned WXPN DJ and Program director who specialized in providing customized events for every couple. Led by Sarah and Chris Brandt with their staff of experienced, knowledgeable, musically encyclopedic DJs, they'll transform your request list into your best night ever.

No cheesy gimmicks, props, banners or chatty DJs. Rather than lead the line dance, they'll line up the perfect dance set. Because the spotlight is yours — not theirs. No Macarena DJ & Custom Music Service is available to provide on-location entertainment to weddings throughout Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York, and Delaware. . The option of a do-not-play list will give couples peace of mind that every song played is truly theirs. Additional services we offer: Photo Booth, Live Music and Lighting.

We had the absolute best experience with No Macarena. From the first conversation to the last song of the night, they were professional, organized, and so easy to work with. The music flowed perfectly, the dance floor stayed full, and they read the crowd better than we could have imagined. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about No Macarena and Chris and Sarah. Throughout the entire process of planning our wedding, Chris and Sarah were professional, helpful, patient, and supportive. Every question asked, they had an answer for, every possible issue posed, they had a solution, every crazy idea pitched, they rose up to the challenge. From our first phone call all the way up to the day of our wedding, they were there ready and willing to help us make all of our big ideas become reality. Their outline was so helpful in planning the timeline for our big day and really helped us figure out all of the small details that we probably would not have even thought of. On the day of our wedding, they were punctual, able to set everything up without questions, and executed everything that we talked about with no issues. They played music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and every event went off without a hitch. During the reception, they provided an excellent mix and kept everyone up on the dancefloor providing the exact atmosphere that we wanted. I can't imagine how different the planning process and our wedding would have been if we didn't choose to use No Macarena. I am so incredibly grateful for everything they did to help make our big day so special. I highly recommend them for literally any event.

Working with no Macarena was such a smooth process from start to finish, which is what you always hope for with vendors. What made our experience special was that DJ Rod truly listened to all of our questions and requests, no matter how weird, and made the night one that we will always remember! We had such a fun night dancing with our friends and family because DJ Rodd helped us create the perfect playlist, edit any songs for the special moments like parent dances, and entrances, and kept the vibes going all night long! He was an incredible emcee as we went through our many pop punk 2000s song requests and he went above and beyond to make sure the night was perfect! Working with no Macarena was one of the best choices we made our wedding. Their communication was great and the service was affordable and worth every penny that we spent!

Chris and Sarah played for our wedding at the MAAS building and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Sarah set up meetings with us to discuss our expectations and day of timeline, and find out more about our music tastes. It felt very customized to us! We asked for an acoustic instrument rendition of Zeppelins “The Rain Song” for the wedding party processional and Chris knocked it out of the park. He also played a light jazzy “Isn’t she Lovely” , for the Bride’s walk down the aisle. It was perfect. Sarah’s voice is beautiful, the DJing was amazing. We got endless compliments. We closed down with the last remnants on the dance floor…. And Chris and Sarah endured haha - They kept the energy alive until late. Also - Accommodated our guests requests into the mix! Their Photo Booth attendant, Heather, did an amazing job keeping guests entertained etc! Thanks again you guys! Couldn’t ask for a more beautiful duo! -Christian and Charlotte
