I am your sound, wedding flow, ambiance setting and music entertainment. I love working weddings, I get to bring joy to many and I know how much you worked to organize this one day.

Customer Service: This is a people’s business and furthermore the stakes couldn’t be higher. Wedding logistics: A wedding has a strict timeline and this is a moving people gracefully business. Sound systems: Good sound with speakers and wireless mic is important for the ceremony, dinner music and most importantly the dance party. I believe in investing in the best equipment that always delivers in all circumstances. Master of Ceremony: The mic is a powerful thing, people hear it, so it better be meaningful. Song selection: No play list, must read the crowd

    After speaking with many overpriced DJ's at a wedding show, I was pleasantly surprised when I found Groove on Hyde Street in a very quick search on the Wedding Wire. The pricing made sense, and they had so many extra options to elevate an event, including lawn games and a photo booth. It was a dark December evening so we could only opt in for the photo booth but it was THE BEST edition to our wedding. We received all copies of the photos taken and they make me so happy! The young man working the photo booth was super nice and tried his best to get copies of photos to everyone amidst the chaos and always gave me the nicest smile. The DJ, Darius, had us use an app for the music which included a timeline for the DJ so he knew when to start the ceremony music, cocktail hour music, and music for special moments like speeches and cake cutting. It made things so easy. He was also able to fill in the gaps for the dance portion as we couldn't think of more than maybe 15 songs that we wanted, but the app allowed us to communicate the type of music we liked and even specific songs we didn't want. He worked seamlessly with our event coordinator the day of. Everything went perfectly for the entire evening!

    Groove on Hyde Street definitely knows how to keep the party alive! After our initial introductory meeting and reading through reviews, we felt pretty good with our choice in hiring them. We did not have any concerns the day of our wedding with DJ Art. He was very professional, timely, listened and asked great questions, and ensured all songs were played on queue as requested. The dance floor was packed all night long, which is what you want! Since our wedding, we have received many positive comments from our wedding guests about the DJ and lively dance floor. Would highly recommend Groove on Hyde Street for your event entertainment needs.

    We had such an amazing experience working with Darius and Blake from Groove on Hyde Street. Everything from the planning to the execution of the evening felt so seamless. We loved using their planning app and selecting songs for the important moments of the evening. The app made things so simple! The night of the wedding, we received so many compliments on the music! Blake played a great selection that vibed really well with the specific songs we chose for the evening. The dance party at the end of the night was the cherry on top of a fun night of great music! Not only was the music on point, but the MC'ing went really well also. I've been to weddings where the progression felt choppy and unnatural, and we really wanted to avoid that at our wedding. Blake handled all of the announcements perfectly, and helped make the transitions from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception feel really smooth. Groove on Hyde Street is an awesome, professional team, and we would work with them again in a heartbeat!

    Artem was wonderful! The playlists he put together were perfect and everyone of all ages enjoyed the dance floor. Ceremony ran perfectly seamless and he was happy to play anything we requested. We had a wind storm cause a change of plans and had to move the dance floor inside. He was quick to adapt and kept the night moving along. Our setup also included colored lights on the walls for a fun look and sparklers for the send off.
