Couples are often surprised by the amount of their budget spent on wedding flowers. Labor and variable wholesale costs add up quickly! To save, avoid anything that needs to be installed day-of and stick to “wear and carry.” This means the florist simply drops off the arrangements (bouquets, boutineers, centerpieces, etc.) at your venue for you to place yourselves. Something like a ceremony arch, by contrast, requires multiple people to set up and take down on site, often with a service charge of up to 40%. “From the moment I said yes, I knew florals would be the highlight of decor for our wedding day. Flowers hold such sentimental value for me because I’d spend my springs planting hundreds of annuals with my baba: zinnias, dahlias, snapdragons, marigolds, begonias, etc. Going to my grandparents house was like going to a magical flower garden, and I wanted to recreate that feeling for our guests. After seeing Misha’s previous floral designs, I knew she would be able to bring what I had in mind to life; she did that and then some. They break down the process and steps, making it super easy, almost to the point that it doesn’t feel real. To start, you meet with a floral consultant where you talk through your wedding details, the vibe you’re going for, the general needs, etc. Then they walk you through a list of various wedding floral options: bouquets, table arrangements, signage florals, ceremony florals, etc., and you start to narrow down what you want. In each section, they have a grouping of photos, and you can either select something from that or ask for more options. You can also tweak what they have shown (I picked florals that had eucalyptus in them and requested everything be switched to ruscus). After that, you have a while to go back in and adjust until a deadline, but they accommodated some last-minute adds I had as well. My earliest memories are always centered around picking flowers in my mothers gardens. I would grab one of the glass bottles she collected and play around with any flowers I could find. Flower design is my passion. My shop is located in our 150 year old barn that in itself is full of character. I try to be a vendor who is easy and fun to work with. I am human and understand money does not grow on trees so I try my hardest to work within the client's budget. Each bouquet I create tells a story, each unique beautiful.

I can’t say enough about how great this experience was! The flowers looked incredible and were exactly what I wanted. But the real star was the coordinating service. Tiara went above and beyond what we even knew we were buying with the day-of coordinating contract. She was there for us for so much and helped us more than I could have asked. No detail was too small or nuanced for Tiara. I am a perfectionist with a keen attention to detail and Tiara exceeded every expectation I could have had. She never treated us like we were asking for too much and was flexible as we changed our minds on certain details. Tiara and Kelsie did an incredible job on the day of the wedding making sure everything ran smoothly. They took care of everything so that my husband and I could truly relax and enjoy our wedding day. Tiara took care of a difficult vendor that was causing me grief and that really meant the world to us on our wedding day. We were worried we may have had too many decorations or too many moving parts, but none of this was a challenge to Tiara and Kelsie. And even if it was, they did not show it! I have high standards in general and often have trouble not being in control of things because I am very particular, but with Tiara I was actually able to trust her and enjoy my day. This is not a compliment I give lightly and one that I mean wholeheartedly. The Fiddlestix team was by far our favorite wedding vendor (and we really had some great ones!) I cannot recommend them enough!”
